Hi Everyone,
I haven’t spent much time on Hive this week. I’ve been working hard on my second Sapien Loop book. I’m made quite a bit of progress over the past few weeks. I think I’m on track to publish this December. This is quite exciting.
I managed one post recently. This was the return of my Sapien Loop quiz. I took two months off to run my Economics Challenge Series. This was the first quiz that asked questions from everywhere in the book. It took five quizzes to build up to this; it’s a long book. I wanted to give people a chance to read it. Unfortunately, this will put people who have only just discovered my book at a big disadvantage, but I had to move onto the whole book at some point. For this quiz, I have given 10 days to enter. This provides some time for those who have not finished the book to catch up.
So far, four people have entered. There are still 8 days left. I imagine there will be a few late entries.
Good Counts
I managed a good count yesterday. I did quite a bit of walking. I walked to the local shop in the morning to pick up a few things. In the early afternoon, I walked to town. I visited the library, I needed to print off a label for a parcel. My home printer has run out of ink or more likely, it has dried up. I very rarely use it. I might need to print something once a year. You might say I have a paperless home office.

After that I went to the post office to send off the parcel. The postal worker was nice and attached the label for me. After that, I went home. I timed my walks perfectly to avoid the rain. That doesn’t normally happen. When I got home, I did some more exercise. I cycled on my stationary bike for 20 minutes. Overall, this was one of my more active days.
That wraps up this Actifit Report and Update. I’ll be back in just over a week. I should have a winner for my quiz and I might be able to provide an update on my new book. I wish everyone a great weekend and an active week ahead.

Congratulations for being on track to publish this December, what are the remaining things that needs to be done with the book before it gets published?
The first draft is about 80%+ complete. I still need to do editing for the whole book. I need to design the cover. I need to complete the illustrations for various chapters.
Individual chapters will be published on Hive first. Then I'll publish the whole book on Amazon.
That's still a lot of work to do in my opinion, but it might not be for you. For example, I think designing a cover might taken some creative brainstorming.
I wish you good luck with it.
It is a lot of work. The cover is important. I'll get some help from AI to make it a little easier. If things do take longer than I expect, I can always push back publishing. I'm not on a strict deadline.
That's good to know that there's no pressure. I wish you all the best with it
December for the new book eh...
Can't wait....
Thanks. You might be my best fan.
Nice job on the steps! Your project sounds like a lot of fun.
The most steps I've had in a long time. Writing the book is an enjoyable experience.
A big congratulations to you on your book you are about to launch this December
Thanks, but I can't celebrate until it's published.
Nevertheless, it is still worth celebrating at least for the effort out in so far
