My Actifit Report Card and Update: February 25 2025

in Actifit15 hours ago (edited)

Hi Everyone,

I’m back with another Actifit Report and Update. I’ve been busy on Hive but on my other account (@captainhive). I have written two short stories. I intend to remain on that account to write at least one more story before I dedicate time back to my main account. My next post on my main account will be a Sapien Loop quiz.

My activity counts for this post are quite low. This is a little frustrating, as I cycled on my stationary bike for over 45 minutes yesterday. The Fitbit is not great at converting cycling activity into counts. It could be because I don’t move my arms. On occasions, I do some additional arm exercises as I cycle. I didn’t do that yesterday. The Fitbit has a cycling setting that usually makes a bit of difference, but I still get higher counts from a 15-minute walk than a half-hour cycle.

My Content

‘Just Another Day in the Economic Institute’. This story follows Randall, August’s persona at the time. Randall is the head of the Economic Institute. The story shows his influence over governors concerning the annual budget. The story looks at his relationship with investors and the media. It finished with a long segment where Randall lectures the newly elected representatives on how the economy works. This segment reveals most of the tricks used to control the economy. I shared this post to my main page because it discusses economics in an alternative economic environment. My first post on my @captainhive account since my previous Actifit Report was

The second story is long, so I’m posting it over three posts. So I have posted two, but I have completed the third. I’m posting it tomorrow to spread them out a little. The second story is titled ‘The Chief in the North’. This story follows Chief Sanguine’s journey from an orphaned boy from a violent rebellion to a ruthless dictator. Sanguine tries to put the past behind him, but he has a strong reminder that things often do not change much. He seeks revenge on those who killed his son. The story ends with an interesting twist.

This story is important to explaining Sanguine’s son, Tiberius’ story. He returns as a major villain in the third book. The story also explains the mistreatment of the Linap living in the North District, which was a key plotline in the second book.

If you choose to read this story, be warned; the conversations and actions of some characters are quite graphic.

That wraps up this Actifit Report and Update. I wish everyone a great week. Stay active and enjoy the better weather!

It's amazing how much world building you've done in these story man.

I haven't been able to read as much as I want because of school and life ..

Sometimes I wonder if it'll be easier to just get a physical copy...

Regardless if physical or online, I'll finish it..

Thanks. It has been a lot of fun building this world.

At the moment there isn't a physical copy. There are the ebooks on Amazon. I'm thinking of converting them to physical copies sometime this year.

At the moment, my focus is on the short stories. I'll begin the third book next year.

What matters is not the count rather it's your physical body exercise and just as you mentioned, it could be as a result of your inability to move your arms
