Hello to all my friends from Hive and the @actifit community, today I bring you a post telling you about my experience related to a Play Station 2. I am a boy passionate about video games and as soon as I arrived in my country, I dusted off my Play Station 2 and to my surprise it did not give video, I immediately got into action and on my first trip to the city of Valencia I asked my mother to go to a technician who could fix this situation.
I suspected from the beginning that it could be the cable or lack of maintenance due to the almost 5 years without being used.
I was in Colombia for 5 years, and during all that time my Play Station was kept safe; however, not using it for all this time caused some damage. It was also very dusty and when I turned it on it didn't play on the TV, so I decided to go out in search of a technician and walking through the streets of Valencia, I found a technician who examined my Play Station and gave me a wrong diagnosis, he must have missed some part, after this I was very disappointed and with low morale. 
I wanted to make sure that this analysis was correct, so I went asking where there was another console technician and after walking quite a bit I managed to find him, he gave us a different diagnosis, he told me that the cable was not working and that a chip had to be removed, and he also offered to update the emulator, at that moment I regained hope. The technician told me to wait 45 minutes while he made the repairs so I did, and we took the opportunity to do some pending errands.
When we got back, I didn't recognize my console, since I had done some maintenance and removed all the dust from it and it was working 100%.
I learned that you should always seek a second opinion and not be guided by the first impression.
I have my console again and I am very happy, I will bring many videos soon. Playing very interesting games and it will be exclusive content since almost no one records that kind of games.
