Hello friends, good morning❤️🏃♀️🙏🥰
Today I have a lot of activities that I would like to share with my friends. This morning I woke up at 4:00 a.m. and prepared myself to go jogging today. It was quite special because I joined the charity run activity of the Trang Elderly Club which was organized by Ban Nong Trut village.
I first heard about this activity when I went to have coffee in the morning at a coffee shop in the village. The owner of the coffee shop told me to join this activity because he saw that I jogged every morning. I am from Pa Mak village, which is a different village from where the activity was organized.
Yesterday I went to ask for information about this activity. I traveled to Ban Nong Trut, which is not far from my village.
I filled out the application form and bought 2 shirts. There will be 2 people participating in this activity, my husband. Each shirt costs 300 baht, so I bought 2 shirts for 600 baht. I got a name tag with a number and was in the group of seniors aged 40-49. The group is separated into men and women. The running activity for the elderly is at the Nong Trut beach.
Release time 6.15 am
As I said, I woke up at 4 am to join this activity. Today I was quite excited because I had never been to the field before. I left at 5.15 am to the meeting point at Ban Nong Trut.
When I arrived, the atmosphere was very lively. There were cars for service, restrooms were parked on the bridge, and there were many cars and motorcycles participating in this activity, including people in the area. The running activity for the elderly was very crowded. At first, I thought I would arrive earlier than the others. In the end, when I arrived at the location, the area was full of people.
So I took pictures of the atmosphere as a souvenir. Before the scheduled time for the jogging, the sky was drizzly, causing all the athletes to run into the tent. It rained for about 20 minutes and then everything returned to normal. Then the announcer went up on stage and let all the athletes go out to the outdoor road from the Nong Trat Exercise Club. Then everyone joined the activity by doing aerobics to warm up their bodies first. When it was time to borrow the starter kit, I was very excited because it was my first activity as I said. When the voice was heard and the athletes who came to join the activity were released, there were a lot of them. Each of them looked strong and were professional runners because some of them were from Nakhon Si Thammarat. I was very excited.
They came in groups. Each group had many people. As for me, I didn't have a group.
When the signal sounded, it was the horn. It let go of all the runners.
The athletes were of all ages, from children to the elderly. When I started running, the first thing I noticed was that the runners were very strong and sturdy. They were 50-60 year old male runners.
The excitement started to set in, along with the physical fatigue. I forgot to mention that the running distance was 5.2 kilometers.
When I ran about halfway, I felt fatigue and tiredness. I tried to run, controlling my breath in and out, but it disappeared because of the fatigue. The sound of breathing became much clearer. My running, my inhalation and exhalation were very loud. My own breath hit my ears, causing me to start breathing in and out slowly.
Because I was tired, I would forget myself and breathe quickly, which made my body very tired. Sometimes during the running distance,
I felt that the distance of my exercise this morning was very far. But I didn't give up. I turned to look at my inhalation and exhalation. When I was very tired, I took a deep breath and exhaled slowly, along with my feet stepping towards the goal.
Along the way, I ran past some participants in this activity and some participants also ran past me along the way. But it made me feel that I can't stop running. I have to keep running. I look ahead and run to the destination to reach the finish line.
The last curve is about 2 kilometers before the finish line, where there are rescue units and nurses and doctors at this point.
And there is a drinking water service point for runners. It is a service point along the way.
About 500 meters before the finish line, I slowed down and grabbed a glass of water. I felt very thirsty, so I drank some water, but it was not like what I thought. My body wanted to drink water because I was so tired, but I could not respond to my body drinking water.
So I put the glass of water on the garbage bag on the side of the road and then ran faster. About 50 meters before I died, there were many people waiting to receive the athletes and to cheer them on. So I ran to the finish line. There were many officers at the finish line. Suddenly, one officer brought me a sign with a neck. I was surprised, but I didn't think much of it because I was tired. When I passed the finish line, there was a point to receive towels as souvenirs for runners who reached the finish line.
Because I was tired, I sat down on the sidewalk. Lek also had other athletes sitting next to me. I saw that they were just as tired as me. We could barely talk. We could only smile at each other. When I sat down and recovered from my fatigue, I got up and went to see where my husband was. After a while, I saw my husband running towards the finish line, which was maybe 3-4 minutes apart. When he started from the finish line, he ran to catch up. Then we ran separately. I didn't know at that time whether my husband ran before or after me.
Because there were a lot of people joining the event, but my husband and I made an appointment that if we ran to the finish line, we would meet at this point, so it was understood.
When I met my husband, I showed him the sign. In conclusion, I made it to the women's 40-49 age group. I was very happy. Then I went to get some water to quench my thirst.
An officer called me to sign my name to receive a prize. I walked to the end of the appointment to sign my name to receive a prize. It was very exciting. I didn't know what prize I would get because I came to run to join the charity event. When it was time to give out prizes, the prizes were given to the winners of each group. They came out one after another until the 40-49 group, which was my group. When the announcer announced my name and last name along with my shirt number, I went up to receive my prize. I ran as the 9th person. The prize I got was 5 kilograms of rice. This activity was very fun. It was my first activity. I was very impressed, especially when I saw both children and seniors who came to exercise. Some seniors were even stronger than me. As for me, I have to go back to exercise and train myself to be stronger. In this area, there are booths selling things. In the booths, there are grilled pork, a famous product of Trang Province, and salted eggs from Chaiya District, Surat Thani Province.
As for food, there are many kinds of food prepared. While I was walking around taking pictures, there were drinks, coffee, drinking water, rice porridge, and rice vermicelli.
I didn't want to eat anything except drinking water. I felt tired and exhausted.
When the ceremony was over, I went back to my garden home.
To prepare breakfast for my daughter.
Lek prepared breakfast for my mother.
And took my mother to take a bath. Then I fed my smart parrot. My husband and I went our separate ways to help with housework and feed the animals.
Activity 2
Today, there was a Kathin robe offering ceremony at the temple in the village. I also participated by helping to cook for the community. Today, I made a spicy instant noodle salad and stir-fried pork innards to serve the guests who came to the Kathin robe offering ceremony.
Then I brought food to the temple with my neighbors who helped cook together. When I arrived at the temple, I put the food aside. I helped dress the dancers. Before getting dressed and putting on makeup, we continued cooking. There were more and more guests coming to the Kathin robe offering ceremony. The prepared food is placed on the table for the guests to eat as much as they want. It is a buffet style. After the massage, I have free time to walk around and take pictures of the temple area. Today's Kathin robe offering ceremony has activities for each village, which is dancing. The dancers from each village, about 3 villages, will have the opportunity to take pictures of the atmosphere of the Kathin robe offering ceremony. When the ceremony is over, we take the food that we brought to cook at the temple and then travel back to the garden house. Today, I have to say goodbye for now, my friends. See you next time. Thank you for following and supporting us. Thank you. ❤️🥰🏃♀️🙏
