About 4pm, 25 December 2022, Leicester.
Amazing sky today, colours were glorious. I managed to catch the sky before the street lamp came on.
My favourite spot for a sit down. Someone's cleaned it up a bit, cut the foliage back. Beautiful in the summer when you're looking for a cool spot in the shade.
And the view from my seat. The pergola has been cleaned, too, all the climbers and vines cut back. I noticed in the summer it needed some repairs.
The Edwardian sunken garden.
And the carp pond.
Just before the sun set through the trees.
The dipping pond shorn of all its greenery.
I did find something growing. I thought there might be snowdrops, but not yet.

Ooh, I wonder if they'll end up being snowdrops though?
I was just smiling at the pot outside my window on the balcony where I planted tulip bulbs this fall. I can't wait to see them out the window in the spring. :)
They probably are - looked a little big, though 🙂.
Spring flowers are the best, I think.
Love the sunken garden!
It's very pretty, children love running round it, like a maze, I suppose.
