Low Life, the third studio album by the British band New Order, was released on 13 May 1985. For many music critics and fans it is one of their best works and a turning point in the history of new wave music.
Low Life is an experimental album that blends elements of punk rock, pop and electronic music and introduces new forms of production using the technology that was emerging at the time.
After this work, New Order focused their style towards a more dance music with a predominance of synthesizers, becoming the pioneers of this musical style.
