A slow and steady morning run through the nearby woods that made me happy with a good effort. Not great, but at least some decent mid-week improvement.
I felt rested heading out the door although my right knee was sore and a little bit in my right hip as well. Fortunately the discomfort dissipated after a mile or so of easy flat road running. I was able to do a little bit of climbing on the dirt roads but nothing that tough. Overall it wasn't too bad and I probably could have ran another couple of miles but I decided to take it easy and head on over to the forest lands by Lynx Creek.
There I was able to relax and enjoy an afternoon among the quiet pine trees and do some gold panning while Lulu had fun exploring all of the sights and smells of the forest - as well as take a dip in the cold and clear creek.
So overall it was a good day for my Actifit activity and although I didn't find any gold it was good to be outdoors.
Tomorrow we're off early to Quartzsite to check out some rock shops and hunt for crystals. Should be a good day.

*When someone tells you that what you want to do is impossible, change the word in your head to hard. What you want to do is hard. Hard is doable – it just requires dedicated work and effort and you can make it happen.
