My Actifit Report Card: January 2 2025

My legs didn't feel too bad this morning after my 91+ miles at the Across the Years but the day was just for rest and a couple of easy walks to clean out my muscles and start getting ready to run again.

I slept pretty much from late yesterday afternoon to about 8am (amazing how running for 24 hours and then driving back home can tire you out 😴😴😴).
My feet had only a couple of banged up toenails but my right inner ankle bone was swollen and tender from where I had banged it with my left foot on a few tight turns. Liberal use of some DMSO gel and my infrared light pad seemed to help and I was able to walk a decent 3 miles around Lynx Lake with Lulu later in the afternoon.

A good night's sleep and I hope to jog a few easy miles tomorrow.
