Hello, hivers! Yesterday, I decided to switch up my usual routine. Normally, I train chest and triceps at the gym on Tuesdays, but I ran into a friend I met in an English course over a year ago and decided to join him for his workout instead of training alone. He goes to the gym twice a week, and yesterday was his upper body day.
I really enjoyed training with him. Even though he uses more weight than I do, I pushed myself to keep up with his pace and managed to work with the same weight he used for all the exercises. I was surprised by my ability to lift more weight than I’m used to, and I realized that training with a friend can be incredibly motivating, as it inspires you to push past your limits. Yesterday, without a doubt, I surpassed my limits in terms of weight at the gym.
I encourage you all to keep training and to stay consistent. Remember: "It always gets easier, the hard part is doing it every day." 💪
Let’s keep pushing forward! 🚀
