This year @outlinez and I planted the potatoes in mid-March.
We wanted to buy the Sante variety like last year, but unfortunately there were none, so we bought the Picasso variety.
Rain is expected next week, so we decided that this week would be the best time to do this work.
My husband prepared the beds. Before I put the potatoes in them, I sprinkled the soil with ash to which I had added stone flour. I also added crushed eggshells, which, in addition to being a natural fertilizer, are also said to help against wireworms.
Our potatoes have already been planted, and let it rain.
