Hello Hive world! It is so nice to meet you again. I'm Iris from Indonesia, a working mom with the soul of a wanderer. As usual, I will share about my simple daily activities, navigating my life while entertaining a boy that perhaps can recharge his energy through solar power. Seriously, if I can put my actifit tracker on him, I might hit 10K easily everyday.
Yesterday I planned to take my boy to play all day, but in the morning he was kidnapped by my in laws. But it was okay, because I got an unexpected time to take a break and spend my slow morning. The weather was too nice to be inside so I decided to take a stroll around my in-laws neighborhood. Their home actually is in the urban area of Malang, different from my home, which is suburban. Nevertheless, it still has an old city ambiance, with old houses, trees, and parks.
I found a pretty nice café, so I decided to have brunch there while waiting for my boy to come back from his outing. Really, nothing can beat a cold sweet latte after a nice workout.
I got my chance to play with my boy in the afternoon after he took some naps. It's been pretty long time since we visited my in-laws home, so he was very excited. I was happy that he got some chance to run on the grasses and learned about new plants that we found along the way. Playing with him always make me realize that it was so easy to be happy and to forget all the duty and responsibility of an adult.
On the way back, we even spotted a squirrel trying to get back to its home. My boy was very excited to see a squirrel for the first time. We did find a couple more climbing the electric cables and rooftops. Amazing how living creatures can adapt throughout human development, isn't it?
That's all for yesterday's adventure. I was pretty energized and ready to face another long and busy week after a short but lovely break. I hope you enjoy my entry. See you tomorrow!

I tend to almost always hit 10K, but if I put the actifit tracker on it, I'd probably blow up the counter! haha.
