Today was a day of internal medicine and psychiatry visits.
First of all, the picture below shows the sign of a barber shop by the nearest bus stop. The cute sign in the shape of scissors is very stylish.
Then we took the bus to the clinic. First, we went to the internal medicine clinic.
When I arrived today, the insurance card reader was frozen, and when I asked the receptionist about it, she told me that the electronic medical record was also not working properly, so I was in a bit of a panic. In the end, I could not get a urine test, only a blood sample and a medical examination.
HbA1c 7.4.
The internal medicine doctor told me that my numbers had not been good recently. I told him that I had definitely walked more than last month, but I was hungry and had been snacking. He told me that my weight had not changed and that I should lose weight and eat less in order to do so.
That is not easy to do.
After leaving the internal medicine clinic, I headed to the psychiatry clinic next. On the way there, I found a cute Christmas tree like the one in the photo below. A big tree with a pointy end is nice, but a small tree like this one is also nice.
At the psychiatrist's office, I told the doctor that I was afraid that the heating bill was going to be expensive, that I had spent too much money this year, and other things about my daily life. After the consultation, we had casework, and I told him about about about the same things. We also talked about what we were going to do in the future. When I asked about the fact that there are often workplaces that do work using computers, the caseworker said that there are workplaces where the actual work is different from what they advertise. I thought that it was difficult to find a place to work that was exactly what I wanted.
After leaving the psychiatry department, I looked at my feet and saw dandelion flowers blooming. They were blooming out of season, but the sight of them crawling on the ground and blooming was quite charming.
I got some medicine at the pharmacy and took the bus home. When I returned, many more stores were open than in the morning, so the scenery was different from the one on the way there, so I took some pictures.
The picture below is a store selling tea leaves. It is a magnificent store.
The photo below shows a store near my house that makes use of a traditional Kyoto machiya (traditional townhouse). The small lanterns are cute.
