I am very sorry those jerks bullied you. Tough break, about your hand. I think, when I read this of how sometimes that's the kind of thing that gives us a backbone.
One of my brothers...his 81st birthday today, so you have a lot in common, and more than a birthday. He is quite short. As I think you know, we were quite poor. We had no father. And, his twin was profoundly disabled. Talk about an uphill battle.
When my brother was in elementary school I'm sure kids tried to bully him, mostly because of his size. Big mistake. They all learned to fear him. He wasn't going to let them win. No matter what it took.
He grew up and started a business. He taught himself a trade and became a top seller in his field.
This isn't about my brother, really. It's about the bullies and about the odds, and about you. If I ever saw talent, I see it in you. What great potential you have.
20? Even in Nigeria, you're a baby. Those statistics don't apply to you. You're going to do better than any statistic predicts.
Happy Birthday, my friend. It's an uncertain world. We are all not sure of what the future holds, but don't think about that. Just go out there and wow them all. I know you can.
Thanks @agmoore and your brother sounds like an interesting lad.😂😂
