This was a great write up, I was surprised at your choice, A great song that I have not heard very often at all mostly due to it's length, for some reason radio hated the long songs, yet the people loved them.

Thank you, that's one thing I will say about them, they didn't (until Brothers in Arms) put their commercial success before their art. There was a slot on a radio show on Radio 2 which played a full version of a song, no matter its length, each morning. It was a chance to get to hear some tracks you never normally get to hear on the radio. Like you, I also love long tracks like Telegraph Road, you can get totally engrossed in the whole experience.
