If yesterday we enjoyed music in western countries, specifically music from the United States, this time I will introduce a band too but from the European continent, specifically Ireland. Wow! Are you curious or not? This band is unique, all members are from one family with the same surname. Do you think you know who they are? Yes, they are the music group The Corrs! This Irish band consists of Andrea as main vocalist, Sharon as violin, piano and vocals player, Caroline as drummer and Jim as guitarist.

The Corrs were formed in the 1990s and when I was in elementary school I started to know their songs. I like Andrea the most. Apart from being beautiful, her voice is also very addictive and very suitable for singing The Corrs' pop songs. Apart from Andrea, I also like Caroline, who I think is a cool girl because as a girl she is good at playing the drums. It's really cool in my opinion, a girl can play drums!

The members of The Corrs themselves come from families who are passionate about music. Their father, Gerry Corr, was a skilled musician on the piano and guitar. As for their mother, Jean Corr is a singer. The Corrs also lived in Dundalk, an area of County Louth Ireland known for its music. Music is part of people's lives there. Almost all local clubs are famous for their live music sessions. In that musical environment the Corrs family grew up. It is not surprising that music has been embedded in their lives from an early age. I've watched their live on YouTube, they sometimes sing their songs combined with traditional Irish musical instruments.

The Corrs are famous for various hit songs that are friendly to the ears of world music lovers, such as Runaway, What Can I Do, So Young, Radio, Only When I sleep, Breathless, What Can I Do, All the Love in the World, and many other legendary songs by The Corrs. So, here are 7 recommendations for The Corrs songs that you can listen to to add to your nostalgic atmosphere.

Breathless

Released in 2000, this song was The Corrs' best song at the time of its initial release. This song has succeeded in occupying first position on various world music charts and was included in the list of best singles in 2000. This song was even number 1 in Spain and Great Britain and was once in the US Top 40 and was the best-selling single.

Furthermore, this song was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Pop Performance and was used as a song for a Brazilian soap opera and as the opening act for the film The Wedding Date. This song tells the story of seduction and feelings of falling in love. Actually, this is one of The Corrs songs that I like the most and often sing at home! :)

What Can I Do

First released in 1998, This song attracted more attention until it reached number three on the British music chart at that time. This song tells about a person's doubts about making his lover fall in love. It sounds relaxing and doesn't really make us think, so it is very suitable to listen to when we are traveling or when we are busy with activities. Andrea's voice is soft and able to carry this song perfectly.

Only When I Sleep

This song tells the story of someone who is in love and often meets in dreams. She often dreamed about him. Apart from that, the music in this song sounds sexy and the lyrics in it also have deep meaning and lots of romantic figurative words. This song is one of The Corrs' songs that I often sing at home too.
She sings live unplugged and in my opinion her voice is still great and not different from her voice on the recorded.

Summer Sun Shine

Released in 2004, this song reached twelfth on the Irish music chart and sixth on the UK Singles Chart. Being one of the songs most often played on various radio stations in Indonesia in ancient times, this song has an uplifting rhythm and sounds very catchy when heard and has a cheerful tone. However, the lyrics themselves actually tell about separation from the person he loves and trying to deal with it.

All the Love in the World

This last song is the one I like the most from The Corrs. This song is really nice to listen to, the tone of the song, the slow music, and the lyrics can bring us to the atmosphere of longing for a lover. This song is more of a statement of feelings that are being felt.

That's all the Corrs music that I recommend you to listen this time music lovers! I hope you all like and enjoy it. Thank you to everyone who always supports me in writing in this community. I hope you are healthy and happy, and don't forget to always listen to music wherever you are! ^^

Have a great day!
