I was **Hiding inside myself**.

I first heard this song about a year ago.. I was just downloading a playlist like the 100 greatest love songs, or something like that. I also should say that I am a big fan of slow songs.. so this one really hit me and when I went to the lyrics vid I found on youtube, I was almost crying.. It's as if someone knew me and my own personal situation, but that couldn't be.. I mean this is an old song, right? I guess some songs are just timeless and will always be meaningful to someone out there.

This is one person's interpretation of the meaning:

A generous, kind, naive and sensitive man who loved unconditionally to a woman who did not reciprocate that affection, this man has been hurt, bruised and fooled. He is now afraid to love again for he is broken and lost, little did he know, there is someone who is willing to embrace his past and ready to help him mend his broken heart.

so powerful and so right on.. it's exactly how I feel about my own failed marriage. Well, that is unfair to the marriage. We did have many good years and got two great kids out of it. It's a part of my life.. a very important part. If anything, it showed me just what I DO want and what I will get out of my life now and for the next 50+ years..

Here is a second song for u. It is sung by one of my favorite artists to listen to. Her voice is lovely and soft.. easy to listen to, but strong also. I am also quite infatuated with the philippines and the music from that country is also one of the pros that I see about the philippines. She is but one of the many pinoy singers (are they just born good singers??) but she is unique in her style and how she sings each song.. perfection for the ears..
