Ay... nuestra adolescencia
Es una etapa donde vamos experimentando, conociendo y aprendiendo más de nosotros mismos y nada mejor que la buena música que nos acompaña en pequeños momentos y no solo en la adolescencia, si no que a lo largo de nuestra vida es un factor indispensable en nuestras emociones.
Todo adolescente tiene su playlist única, esa que a pesar de que salgan nuevas canciones nunca dejaremos de escuchar porque a demás de que nos encanta, años después nos da nostalgia y trae consigo muchos recuerdos que nos hacen sentir alegres. Por eso, el día de hoy vengo a participar en la iniciativa de @littlegremlin donde nos anima a mencionar 3 de esas canciones que sin duda llenan nuestro corazón adolescente.

It is a stage where we are experimenting, knowing and learning more about ourselves and nothing better than good music that accompanies us in small moments and not only in adolescence, but throughout our lives is an indispensable factor in our emotions.
Every teenager has his or her unique playlist, the one that even though new songs come out we will never stop listening to because besides the fact that we love it, years later it gives us nostalgia and brings back many memories that make us feel happy. So, today I come to participate in the initiative of @littlegremlin where he encourages us to mention 3 of those songs that undoubtedly fill our teenage heart.

Complicated - Avril Lavigne
Avril lavigne fue la primera mujer que escuche en este genero y sin duda la ame, complicated fue la primera canción que escuche de ella y después de escucharla un montón de veces me la termine aprendiendo. Habla sobre como son algunas personas cuando vive en una apariencia que no es propia por el miedo al que dirán.
Mi mama se moría de risa al verme cantarla porque así como una canción de despecho, la cantaba como señora dolida y en la actualidad nada ha cambiado.
Avril lavigne was the first woman I heard in this genre and without a doubt I loved her, complicated was the first song I heard from her and after listening to it a lot of times I ended up learning it. It talks about how some people are when they live in an appearance that is not their own for fear of what people will say.
My mom would die laughing when she saw me singing it because it was a song of spite, she sang it as a hurt lady and nowadays nothing has changed.
Porta - Cree en ti
Al realizar este post tuve que volver a buscar estas canciones y cuando escuche esta después de tantos años me puse a llorar porque fue algo que me marco mucho. Yo era muy acomplejada y se metían conmigo por cualquier tontería obvio yo no me dejaba, me defendía pero cuando llegaba a mi casa me ponía a llorar porque era muy desgastante.
Siempre que me ponía mal la primera canción que escuchaba era esta porque de alguna manera me hacia sentir fuerte y poderosa, me calmaba y me recordaba que yo podía con todo y que hacer oídos sordos a todos los malos comentarios era lo mejor. Ya saben lo que dicen Donde la ignorancia habla, la inteligencia calla
When I made this post I had to look for these songs again and when I heard this one after so many years I started to cry because it was something that marked me a lot. I was very self-conscious and they picked on me for any nonsense, obviously I did not let myself, I defended myself but when I got home I started to cry because it was very exhausting.
Whenever I got upset the first song I listened to was this one because somehow it made me feel strong and powerful, it calmed me down and reminded me that I could handle anything and that turning a deaf ear to all the bad comments was the best thing to do. You know what they say Where ignorance speaks, intelligence is silent.
Sean Kingston, Justin Bieber - Eenie Meenie
Una de las canciones con las que mas me divertía era con esta. A mi prima siempre le han encantado las canciones en ingles y yo como toda una niña queriendo seguir el ejemplo de la persona que me parecía de admirar me la quería aprender para poder cantarla como ella.
Valentina, al ver mi esfuerzo me la enseñó y así nos dividimos la canción, ella cantaba la parte de Justin y yo la de Sean pasando así una de las mejores tardes de mi niñez.
One of the songs I had the most fun with was this one. My cousin has always loved songs in English and I, like a little girl, wanted to follow the example of the person I admired, so I wanted to learn it and sing it like her.
Valentina, seeing my effort, taught it to me and so we divided the song, she sang Justin's part and I sang Sean's part, having one of the best afternoons of my childhood.
