I was speaking to some great South African artists at he cottage club about rythm and you and your footstomp. You are gifted there. Not everyone can do that. There are other techniques of keeping rythm. I wouldn't be able to because my left foot is the injured side. But that being said, I have to find a way of communicating my internal rythm to everyone else playing with me. One guy (Anthony) said he just bought himself a metronome! At 65 after playing rock guitar his whole life! Says he's never played better.
