Rock and metal are genres that influenced my musical preferences since I was a teenager. Besides being my influence also when learning to play the guitar. In this post I will talk about my 5 favorite bands of these two genres.

Es una de las bandas más icónicas e influyentes del nu metal. La comencé a escuchar cuando era adolescente y fue mi más grande influencia a la hora de empezar a tocar guitarra. It's one of the most iconic and influential nu metal bands. I started listening to them when I was a teenager and they were my biggest influence when I started playing guitar. Bullet For My Valentine
Es una banda de metal que también comencé a escuchar en mi adolescencia siendo waking the demon la canción que me llevó a querer seguir escuchando sus canciones. Pero cuando escuché tears don't fall y la parte 2 se volvió como mi himno. De hecho cuando aprendí a tocar esa canción mi felicidad no era normal primero porque me encantaba y segundo por la dificultosa que la veía. Otras de sus canciones que estan entre mis favoritas son hand of blood, all these things I hate, alone, the last fight.
It's a metal band that I also started listening to in my teenage years being waking the demon the song that made me want to keep listening to their songs. But when I heard tears don't fall and part 2 it became like my anthem. In fact when I learned to play that song my happiness was not normal first because I loved it and second because of how difficult I found it. Other of his songs that are among my favorites are hand of blood, all these things I hate, alone, the last fight.
Planetshakers
Es una banda de rock cristiana que comencé a escuchar en el año 2013 y me gustó desde ese instante. La canción que más me gusta de ellos es limitless la cual habla sobre que no hay límites cuando uno va encaminado con Dios. Otras de sus canciones que me encantan son the anthem, we are free, turn it up, never let me go.
It's a Christian rock band that I started listening to in 2013 and I liked it from that moment on. The song I like the most about them is limitless which talks about how there are no limits when you are on track with God. Skillet
También comencé a escuchar esta grandiosa banda de rock cristiano en el año 2013. Tienen una gran combinación de armonía en sus voces, los musicos de instrumentos complementan muy bien esa armonía y le dan ese gran toque de rock. Mis canciones favoritas son monster, hero, awake and alive, rise, feel invincible.

Killswitch engage
Es una banda de metal que tuvo gran impacto en los años 2000'. Mis canciones más favoritas son my curse, la cual tuvo gran impacto en esa generación formando parte del soundtrack de guitar hero III en la parte del bonus. También always, end of heartache, the arms of sorrow, the signal fire. En la actualidad han sacado material nuevo un tanto diferente pero siguen manteniendo la esencia.
