Good morning from me in England!
I'm DARREN CLAXTON a Singer, Songwriter and Musician from Derbyshire in the UK.
I joined Steemit back in January 2018 and quickly attracted a following of my original music.
Somedays
I've been writing constantly since taking a break from blogging and the whole Blockchain divide, to which I completely stayed out of. There were alot of political blockchain discussions going on which made me anxious to be honest.
I just can't juggle too many of life's balls, and found that I was just posting for the sake of posting, you know? Coupled with being a father and educator, it was all too much for me.
The last gig I played ~ 25th January 2020
So, last year, when the pandemic hit, I decided to concentrate on my brand, DARREN CLAXTON and the music I create, the buzz around my sound, the connection I make with people and the emotive feelings I create by writing about how I perceive life.
This made my heart smile, a comment from my Dad! He was in hospital for a whole week with Covid Pneumonia in the middle of January, so we're very happy he's now home. It was an extremely difficult time and I feared he'd just be another tragic number on Covid's hit list.
As of last Friday, my little family have Covid, myself and Mrs C are really unwell but the children (7 & 11) seem to be fine.
I'm sure we'll be fine, so wish us a speedy recovery so I can get back to making music.
