Eshgh Bazi (The Ways Cover) | Persian Music Cover | Me but 7 years ago

in Music3 days ago (edited)

This is one of my old acoustic covers from seven years ago when I was in my hometown, Dargaz City (Iran). The song, Eshgh Bazi, is by the Iranian rock band The Ways. They originally formed in Mashhad, but later, their vocalist, Kaveh, left the band. Despite this, The Ways continued under the same name, while Kaveh pursued a solo career.

The song is filled with beautiful metaphors, making it poetic and deep in meaning. However, at its core, it revolves around love and making love. The way it expresses these emotions is artistic and symbolic, which adds to its charm and depth.

I hope you enjoy listening to this performance.

I should also mention that The Ways was one of the most influential bands of its time. When Iran had very few pop-rock artists, they emerged and quickly gained a strong reputation among the people. Their music even reached beyond Iran—I once heard from an Austrian friend that one of their songs was played on Austrian TV. (That song was called "Shal")

Kaveh was the lead singer and songwriter behind many of The Ways’ best songs. I believe the band was at its best when they were together, but after they split, it took a long time for Kaveh to regain his momentum. Lately, though, he has been creating some remarkable music.

He even managed to hold concerts at Milad Tower (In past Rock and Metal bands were not allowed to perform officially), which is a prestigious venue that not every artist has the opportunity to perform at. ( in any case I wish them all luck (band or Kaveh).

Wishing you all a great day and night!

peace & Love!
