Hola, querida comunidad de Hive. Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes mi más reciente proyecto, una canción titulada Volverte a Encontrar. Esta pieza nace de un sentimiento profundo de nostalgia, inspirado en la lejanía de mi familia y el deseo de reconectar con esos lazos que el tiempo y la distancia han desdibujado. Pero no solo es una canción, es también un reto creativo que me llevó a explorar nuevas formas de expresión.
Hello, dear Hive community. Today, I want to share with you my latest project, a song titled Volverte a Encontrar (Finding You Again). This piece stems from a deep sense of nostalgia, inspired by the distance from my family and the desire to reconnect with those bonds that time and separation have blurred. But it’s not just a song; it’s also a creative challenge that led me to explore new forms of expression.
Para el videoclip, decidí darle vida a la historia a través de la animación. Me aventuré a crear un mundo de dibujos animados, utilizando dos programas de código abierto que se han convertido en mis aliados: Inkscape, para diseñar las ilustraciones en vectores, y Synfig Studio, para darles movimiento. Además, para unir todos los elementos de la animación y las ilustraciones, utilicé Kdenlive, un editor de video de código abierto y gratuito, con el cual le di los toques finales al proyecto. Todo esto lo desarrollé en mi sistema operativo preferido, Linux Mint, demostrando que con herramientas gratuitas y mucha dedicación, es posible crear algo único desde cero.
For the music video, I decided to bring the story to life through animation. I ventured into creating a world of cartoons, using two open-source programs that have become my allies: Inkscape, for designing vector illustrations, and Synfig Studio, for animating them. Additionally, to bring together all the elements of the animation and illustrations, I used Kdenlive, a free and open-source video editor, which helped me add the final touches to the project. All of this was developed on my preferred operating system, Linux Mint, proving that with free tools and a lot of dedication, it’s possible to create something unique from scratch.
Este proyecto no solo representa un desafío técnico, sino también emocional. Cada fotograma, cada nota, está impregnado de un pedacito de mi historia. Espero que, al ver el videoclip y escuchar la canción, puedan sentir esa conexión que tanto anhelo y que, de alguna manera, les inspire a reconectar con sus propias raíces.
This project represents not only a technical challenge but also an emotional one. Every frame, every note, is infused with a piece of my story. I hope that when you watch the video and listen to the song, you can feel that connection I long for and that, in some way, it inspires you to reconnect with your own roots.
