Welcome back to my blog, guys! Today I bring you my classic music review to start the week with energy, and today's theme is the Timba Cubana, a very particular style of salsa with a lot of rhythm changes that are very interesting and that I am currently dancing a lot in my dance school @yoysalseros with the company in which I dance.
There have been many songs that I have already heard thanks to the competitions in which I am participating lately and that have been very cool to learn to dance to be able to understand many great things in my style of dance, are many tools that I have now to be able to solve when interpreting this type of music, in short an incredible type of genre to dance and today I want to show you some of the songs that I like the most of the genre.

El día de hoy les traigo mi clásica reseña musical para empezar la semana con energía, y la temática de hoy es la Timba Cubana, un estilo de salsa muy particular con un montón de cambios de ritmos que son muy interesantes y que actualmente estoy bailando muchísimo en mi escuela de baile @yoysalseros con la compañía en la que bailo.
Han habido muchas canciones que ya he escuchado gracias a las competencias en las que estoy participando ultimamente y que han sido muy geniales aprender a bailar para poder entender muchas cosas geniales en mi estilo de baile, son muchas herramientas que tengo ahora para poder resolver al momento de interpretar este tipo de música, en definitiva un tipo de género increíble para bailar y hoy les quiero mostrar algunas de las canciones que más me gustan del género.
1.- Havana D'Primera - Me Dicen Cuba

I begin the review with this song that was the first timba I heard in my life in a social dance, which for those who do not know what that is, it is a meeting of dancers from different schools who go to interact and dance with various people to improve their style, to meet people and have a good time.
I love this song very much because it speaks a lot about Cuban culture, about how salsa and its history generates a sublime identification among the Cuban people, it makes me very happy now to understand all this history and admire even more all the contribution that Cuba has generated to the whole world being the root of what we know today as Salsa.
In this song, the lead singer is Alexander Abreu, one of the greatest exponents of this genre, I feel that this type of salsa is the one I enjoy listening to the most, however, the style with which I want to specialize in dancing goes towards another type of salsa, but this will always be part of me.
Comienzo la reseña con esta canción que fue la primera timba que escuché en mi vida en un baile social, que para quienes no conocen qué es eso, es una reunión de bailarínes de escuelas diversas que van a interactuar y bailar con varias personas para mejorar su estilo, para conocer personas y pasarla bien.
Esta canción me encanta demasido porque habla mucho sobre la cultura cubana, sobre el cómo la salsa y su historia genera una identificación sublime entre el pueblo cubano, me da mucha felicidad ahora entender toda esta historia y admirar aún más todo el aporte que le ha generado Cuba al mundo entero siendo la raíz de lo que hoy conocemos como Salsa.
En esta canción, el cantante principal es Alexander Abreu, uno de los máximos exponentes de este género, siento que este tipo de salsa es de las que más disfruto escuchar, sin embargo, el estilo con el que yo quiero especializarme para bailar va hacia otro tipo de salsa, pero esta siempre formará parte de mí.

This song is one of the best timbas I have ever heard in my life, it was the first one I heard while dancing a rueda de Salsa Casino in @yoysalseros and I feel that it stayed with me forever, to the point that it is one of the most romantic songs I have been able to dance and I must admit that a dream of my life is to dance this song with a partner who can also dance Casino and enjoy this song from beginning to end, it is the dream of my life as a dancer.
It has lyrics too beautiful to dedicate, the trumpet playing of Alexander Abreu makes you realize that he is not only a legendary singer and songwriter but also a trumpet player of elite quality.
The three types of voices that the 3 singers have enchant me too much, I feel that the chorus is too catchy and too tasty to dance to, it is simply a beautiful song to dance in a circle, in a couple, etc.
Esta canción es una de las mejores timbas que he escuchado en mi vida, fue la primera que escuché al bailar una rueda de Salsa Casino en @yoysalseros y siento que se quedó para siempre en mí, al punto de que es una de las canciones más románticas que he podido bailar y debo admitir que un sueño de mi vida es bailar esta canción con una pareja que sepa bailar también Casino y disfrutarnos esta canción de principio a fin, es el sueño de mi vida como bailarín.
Tiene una letra demasiado hermosa para dedicarla, la trompeta que suena de Alexander Abreu hace que uno vez que no solo es un cantante y compositor legendario sino que también es un trompetista de calidad élite.
Los tres tipos de voces que tienen los 3 cantantes me encantan demasiado, siento que el estribillo es demasiado pegajoso y demasiado sabroso para bailar, es una canción simplemente hermosa para baialr en rueda, en pareja, etc.

This song has been one of the most listened to and practiced when training with the dance company in @yoysalseros, it is a very tasty song to dance and to enjoy the lyrics, the rhythm, because it has a very particular cadence to make even a show when interpreting it, I have danced in socials, in competitions I have seen it and it is always one of the best songs that can be put for enjoyment.
I feel that something I love about Timba is the chorus of the singers of the orchestra, because it is what is repeated the most and allows you to understand what the story they are telling, it is what guides you as a dancer at the time of interpreting, it is the magic behind the genre.
Esta canción ha sido de las que más he escuchado y practicado al momento de entrenar con la compañía de baile en @yoysalseros, es una canción muy sabrosa para bailar y para disfrutar de la letra, del ritmo, porque tiene una cadencia muy particular para hacer inclusive un show al momento de interpretarla, la he bailado en sociales, en competencias la he visto y siempre es una de las mejores canciones que pueden poner para el goce.
Siento que algo que me encanta de la Timba son los coros de los cantantes de la orquesta, porque es lo que más se repite y te permite entender de qué va la historia que van contando, es lo que te guía como bailarín al momento de interpretar, es la magia detrás del género.

Finally, I bring you this type of Timba that has a particular mix because in Cuba they not only have their particular style of Salsa but also their particular style of Reggaeton, which is known as "Cubaton" by analogy, with a particular cadence that invites you to dance with a lot of cadence and with a lot of enjoyment, you can combine Salsa steps, Rumba steps, steps of Cuban Reparto or Cubaton, it is a total musical download.
This genre is one of the ones I enjoy the most nowadays because of its musical richness, I feel that it invites you to dance and express yourself, it is a genre that I will never stop dancing and enjoying.
Para finalizar, les traigo este tipo de Timba que tiene una mezcla particular porque en Cuba no solo tienen su estilo particular de Salsa sino también su estilo particular de hacer Reggaetón, el cual es conocido como "Cubatón" por analogía, con una cadencia particular que te invita a bailar con mucha cadencia y con mucho goce, puedes combinar pasos de Salsa, pasos de Rumba, pasos de Reparto Cubano o Cubatón, es un descargue musical total.
Este género es de los que más disfruto en la actualidad por su riqueza musical, siento que te invita demasiado a bailar y a expresarte, es un género que nunca dejaré de bailar y de disfrutar.

Wow!!! Qué tremendos temas de esa gran banda que es Habana de Primera.
