Hola amigos || Hello friends
Y una vez más en un TTT compartiendo con ustedes algunas anécdotas y por supuesto música. Seguimos con las bandas de mi ciudad. Los 90s y principios del 2000 la movida del rock y la electrónica fueron propulsores de una generación que por mucho tiempo siguió manteniendo la movida activa no solo en mi región si no, en todo un país. Y si, ya no es igual que aquellos momentos pero qué hemos hecho para evitar el despliegue de esta nueva generación musical que para muchos ha sido decepcionante.
And once again in a TTT sharing with you some anecdotes and of course music. We continue with the bands from my city. In the 90s and early 2000s the rock and electronic music scene was the driving force of a generation that for a long time kept the scene active not only in my region but also in the whole country. And yes, it is no longer the same as those times but what have we done to avoid the deployment of this new musical generation that for many has been disappointing.
¿A qué me refiero? Bueno, me refiero a que muchos talentos en nuestro país se han dedicado a hacer bandas que solo siguen elevando el talento de otros. Y es así, cada banda nueva que se dedique a solo hacer cover de bandas o artistas ya reconocidos en cierto modo solo impulsan dichos artistas dejando atrás su propio talento. Conozco muchísimos buenos talentos en mi ciudad y podría decir sin miedo que solo el 15% sigue intentando surgir con su propio arte. Y es aquí donde debemos también cambiar un poco la mentalidad como oyentes. Y es que el apoyo a bandas que siguen creyendo en su talento están en cierto punto poco apoyadas por el público en general debido a qué como ya sabemos no existe por lo menos en nuestra país (Venezuela) una manera de motivar dichos proyectos musicales. Están enfocados mucho más en el género urbano, reguetón o el mismo Yuyu. ¿Y qué logramos con eso? Simple, que la nueva generación de músicos sigan adelante expresando el arte de otros.
What do I mean by that? Well, I mean that many talents in our country have dedicated themselves to making bands that only continue to elevate the talent of others. And that's how it is, every new band that is dedicated to only cover bands or artists already recognized in a way only boost those artists leaving behind their own talent. I know a lot of good talents in my city and I could say without fear that only 15% are still trying to emerge with their own art. And this is where we must also change our mentality as listeners. And the fact is that the support to bands that still believe in their talent are at a certain point little supported by the general public because as we already know there is not at least in our country (Venezuela) a way to motivate such musical projects. They are much more focused on the urban genre, reggaeton or the same Yuyu. And what do we achieve with that? Simple, that the new generation of musicians go ahead expressing the art of others.
Y a lo mejor dirán, ¿pero qué tiene de malo estos géneros que mencionas? Le contestaré de esta manera. Vean una partitura de por ejemplo, Metallica y veamos una partitura de Bad Bunny. Bueno mejor ni lo hagan porque no pararan de reír ni en el trabajo cuando recuerden dicha propuesta por mí. Entonces, que alimentamos con un género que lo que hace es denigrar a la mujer sobre todo sin mencionar sus letras sin sentido poético o sin ningún mensaje positivo. Y ustedes dirán. Lo que sí, es que sin darnos cuenta estamos acabando con la creatividad del músico.
And maybe they will say, but what's wrong with these genres you mention? I'll answer you this way. Let's see a score of, for example, Metallica and let's see a score of Bad Bunny. Well you better not even do that because you won't stop laughing even at work when you remember such a proposal by me. So, what do we feed with a genre that what it does is denigrate women especially without mentioning its lyrics without poetic sense or without any positive message. And you will say. What is true is that without realizing it, we are destroying the creativity of the musician.
Considero que si hubiera por ejemplo alguien en la ciudad que tomara la iniciativa de crear encuentro musicales con artistas que creen su propio arte pueda ser una opción. Por ejemplo recuerdo que cuando era adolescente y empecé con la motivación de armar una banda de rock fue porque mis amigos y yo encontramos un flayer pegado en el comedor del colegio que decía "Primer intercolegial de banda Cumaná" de inmediato consideré con mis propios amigos armar algo. A uno le gustaba la batería, a otro la guitarra y a mi bueno, cantar. Y eso no solo nos motivó a nosotros sino a un gran grupo de estudiantes y eso por donde lo vea es motivador para cualquier joven.
I think that if there was for example someone in the city that took the initiative to create musical meetings with artists who create their own art, it could be an option. For example, I remember when I was a teenager and I started with the motivation to form a rock band because my friends and I found a flier pasted in the dining room of the school that said “First Intercollegiate band Cumana” I immediately considered with my own friends to form something. One liked the drums, another one the guitar and me, well, singing. And that not only motivated us but a large group of students and that is motivating for any young person.
Pero en fin, este es mi punto de vista no solo de mi ciudad si no en gran parte de mi país y añoro volver a pasar por una esquina y escuchar ese ruido que para muchos es tormentoso. Quisiera seguir acá mostrándoles bandas que empezaron luego de todo ese movimiento que se creó y que sin duda hace falta revivirlo. Estas son las tres bandas de mi ciudad que hoy les dejaré. Espero que sea como siempre de su agrado.
But anyway, this is my point of view not only in my city but in most of my country and I long to go back to pass by a corner and hear that noise that for many is stormy. I would like to continue here showing you bands that started after all that movement that was created and that undoubtedly needs to be revived. These are the three bands from my city that I will leave you with today. I hope you like them as always.

Yah thats one thing about music its hard to find support
Que interesante tu publicacion amigo y no solo pasa esto en venezuela tambien en cuba que se ha fomentado en cantidad generos en los grupos y bandas que son los mas consumidos por la población pero no los mas hermosos con letras ofensivas y que mayormente habla del tema de deingrar a la mujer o sobre peleas entre muchachos, hay que fomentar a nuevas bandas con generos que han perdido la popularidad en las propias bandas, y no por falta de consumidores siempre hay una parte de población como nosotros que escuchamos toda la música que sea buena y aunque la gran mayoria (como en Cuba) de la población lo que escucha es el reggaeton reparto y otros generos el oído se puede educar y se ayuda a la culturización llegando a mucho más público al empezar a tener un grupo de personas de amigos de familiares que consuman las canciones de las nuevas bandas

Por ejemplo, sabemos que a los 8 años un niño puede gustarle cualquier cosa pero nosotros en casa, siempre ponemos clásicos del rock o pop y así nuestra Luna, así se llama mi hija se han enfocado mucho más en la buena música. De hecho con mi otro hijo me pasó algo muy curioso. En un paseo en el auto con él. Estábamos escuchando Soda Stereo y me detuve a conversar un momento con un amigo cuando escucho a mi hijo diciéndome
Claro amigo, principalmente les gusta cualquier cosa pero siempre quedan marcadas las cosas que les enseñan los padres la musica el vocabulario y los modales y es hermoso que tu niño te dijera que le subieras se nota que les pones buena musica para que disfruten y aprendan un saludo y me encantó esta reflexión ❤️
