"Dumbi Dumbi"
Hello my people HIVE
It is an immense pleasure for me to present, once again, in this MUSIC Community, a simple version of the first song that every Venezuelan plays and sings when he is learning to play the Venezuelan Cuatro, it is the "Dumbi Dumbi". Its real title is "Ingenua" and it was composed by the Venezuelan musician and guitarist Luís Cruz, the same author from the song "Cumpleaño Feliz". The "Dumbi Dumbi" is one of the easiest Venezuelan songs to learn to play because of its simple harmony. With the passing of time, the "Dumbi Dumbi" has become a reference and an icon of Venezuelan music as it is part of the daily life of popular events. Who has not tried to play and sing this song, has not started in Venezuelan popular music. Here is this version accompanying me with the Ukelele with the hope that it is to your liking.
Dumbi Dumbi Dumbi
Dumbi Dumbi Dumbi Daaaaa (bis)
Muchachita linda
que me das tu corazón.
Capullito tierno
que me das todo tu amor.
Tú no me conoces
tú no sabes quién soy yo,
no me des tu alma
si no sabes mi intención.
Piensa un poco más
y pregúntale a papá,
que él sabe más
que tú y que yo de amores...
de amores.
I want to thank the Hive Platform and, in the same way, the MUSIC Community for allowing me to share the exercise of the wonderful world of music and for all the support you have given me, also you, thank you very much.
