Recently, the iconic band Journey have seen one of their classics declared the greatest of all time, thanks to its impressive sales.
Journey, originally from San Francisco, is one of those bands that left an indelible mark on their era, standing out for their ingenuity and perseverance.
With commercial melodies, memorable rhythms and an unmistakable voice, they managed to shine above many other bands, establishing themselves in the collective memory of music lovers.
Emblematic songs such as ‘Lights’, ‘Any Way You Want It’ and ‘Open Arms’ achieved notable success, but today the focus is on an even more emblematic song that has received significant recognition for its sales.

We are referring to ‘Don't Stop Believin’’, which has been crowned the greatest song of all time.
This achievement is significant, as it represents the trajectory and impact it has had on a generation that continues to resonate with its message.
Recently, ‘Don't Stop Believin’’ reached an impressive 18 platinum records, equivalent to 18 million copies sold in the United States alone.
This recognition was awarded by the RIAA, making this song, which was released in the 1980s, a true musical milestone and marking Journey's first number one as a band.
While I love Journey I would not say (for any song) it is the greatest song ever. There are too many great songs and sounds but this one is a good one I agree - my Journey favourite in the following (different direction one could think from the title though):
Note - i bought that album back in the days during a visit to San Diego
A matter of taste, I like Open Arms better.
true - open arms is not bad as well.
