And here we are, finally at the end of the first chapter of Harbiter's story.
Let's recap: Harbiter is a man who lives in a dystopian future, where the powerful ones have managed to totally subjugate the people to their will, forcing them into a system that totally deprives people of their individual freedom in favor of absolute productivity.
In this system, one false step is enough to lose everything, thrown among the waste of a society that has lost empathy. Harbiter finds himself completely abandoned, on the brink of death.
But it is precisely when he hits rock bottom that he manages to hear the voices of those like him, the Invisibles of the night. The true call of the city. And so, in a desperate flash of revenge, he decides that, if he really has to die, he will do it by trying to destroy this corrupt system. With his words and his music he slowly manages to awaken the minds of his peers. Precisely the people who have nothing left to lose are the ones who most find the sense of strength in uniting in a single movement, against the powerful ones.
The Invisibles of the night gather in strategic and isolated points of the city to gather their strength, support each other and organize the uprising. We started as blinded in chains, we will end up burning everything or being burned by our ardor. In any case, a glorious end.

Warning: on Spotify or every other streaming service you'll find a cut down version of the album, with the first song cut in half and other two songs missing. If Spotify pays a fraction of a cent, you'll get a fraction of my music. Sorry not sorry. I know how much my music worths and I decide how to provide it to the world. You want the full package? You pay, as it's always been. Thanks for your understanding.
I have talked specifically about the individual songs in previous posts in the collection "The steps of the uprising" which you can find here: https://peakd.com/hive-110144/@harbiter/the-steps-of-the-uprising
I wrote these songs as an introduction to Harbiter's story. A condensed version of the first part of his rise to power. This story will be expanded with the next album, which will talk about other aspects of his life, people he meets, decisions he makes.
As you can already hear from this album, I like to mix different genres because, in my musical production, I have always aimed to differentiate the songs to make them unique and not just a collection of similar songs, which in the long run become indistinguishable from each other. So you find more electronic songs, others more rock and metal, some darker and others lighter and more melancholic. This differentiation will be even more accentuated in the next album, but I will talk about it in due time.

For the more curious there is also the deluxe edition with all the alternative versions, remixes and instrumentals of the songs. You can find it on Bandcamp and on my website.
I remind you that you can also find the full album as NFT on NFT Showroom at the price of 40 SWAP.HIVE (in the future I will probably introduce benefits for those who own the album NFT).
And that's it for now. I hope you're enjoying this journey with me. I have a whole story concept that I want to develop through the span of 2-3 albums in the future. It will take probably 3 or 4 years of releasing music and the related content, with collaborations, live gigs and many other things that will add up to the whole experience of following me. This is just the beginning.
I'm gonna talk more in depth about how this first year has been, including my experience on Hive and my future developments in the next post.
Meanwhile, push play, crank the volume up to eleven and always...
It is an interesting album with the story that you also described here, well done mate :) your cover art is also great.
I was listening to Blinded In Chains on Bandcamp, it was amazing, so deep especially the voice and then your whispers after that part. your mix of guitars and ambient of synth made a great atmosphere
the next tracks reminded me of 80's/90's video games, a kind of cool 8bit music. also as I like Rammstein, your music also reminded me of them which is amazing. (though you have your own style)
do you know a video game called Red Alert (Command and Conquer)? Its soundtracks were done by Frank Klepacki (one of my favorite music producers), when I heard your track "Infection" it reminded me of Klepacki , I can say it is as great as his music.
I really liked the way you managed your songs in this album, and the connection between each track, especially the last ones was great, the transition from infection to Thirst of Power.
Cool. I'll be having a listen very soon.
