Welcome all to yet another post concerning music albums I have to present, some I have for a few months already and waiting patiently in line to be shown and two or three among them that I've received only recently and am ready now to present them altogether. All of these are in cassette format and let's quickly jump into it.
The first album is the latest Edoma have released this April under the title Buried by Permafrost.
The band hails from Saint Petersburg in Russia and I got to know them from their previous debut album which I'm too going to show here. They're playing black \ death and it's a very good listen indeed.
As the above image shows it's a limited release of 50 units and it's housed in a cardboard case with ice black film.
Since I started with this band, next up is their debut album under the title Immemorial Existence.
This album was released in 2020. I don't remember what made me listen to it, but since I did I haven't looked back.
Next album is from Amon Amarth and their latest release so far The Great Heathen Army that got released in 2022.
It's too a good listen and I'm happy to have this in my collection.
Moving on, Darkened are up for some spotlight with their latest full album under the title The Black Winter released too in 2022.
I discovered this band a few years back when I saw that a label would release their debut EP in cassette format and I thought to listen to it to see if appeal to me. It goes without saying that after their initial EP and two full length albums all of which I now own this band does appeal to me.
Next in line are Metallica with their latest offering called 72 Seasons released this year.
On November 28, 2022, Hetfield commented on the meaning of the album's title:
72 seasons. The first 18 years of our lives that form our true or false selves. The concept that we were told 'who we are' by our parents. A possible pigeonholing around what kind of personality we are. I think the most interesting part of this is the continued study of those core beliefs and how it affects our perception of the world today. Much of our adult experience is reenactment or reaction to these childhood experiences. Prisoners of childhood or breaking free of those bondages we carry.
Next album coming from the iconic man behind Rotting Christ music and lyrics and face of the band Sakis Tolis with his first ever solo album that was born because of the pandemic and also have bought it on vinyl and presented here under the title Among The Fires Of Hell.
The next two albums are Rotting Christ albums, first being Genesis. It originally got released in 2002.
and the second album which I also have on vinyl Theogonia that got released in 2007.
The above YT video shows a different album cover of the same album and was used when their label re-released later this album, my cassette album cover shows the original one.
Last two albums are from Paradise Lost. The first one under the title Faith Divides Us – Death Unites Us that got released in 2009.
and the second under the title The Plague Within which got released in 2015.
This is the end of this post, I can't wait to present more music albums that I have plus two more that just arrived today, I'll just leave it here for now. Kind regards to anybody taking the interest to have a look at my post.
