Ayer fue un día lleno de sorpresas y de rutas que me llevaron a recuerdos de mi juventud. Tuve que ir a visitar a una gran amiga y poeta de mi ciudad que tiene aproximadamente 82 años, de esas mujeres adelantadas a su época, se divorció a los 40 años, maestra jubilada y muy reconocida a nivel cultural.
Una escritora y poeta infantil, que encontró a su media naranja hace algunos años.
La recordaba caminando y saludando siempre, hablándole a todo el mundo de Dios y sus milagros, con una gran sombrilla para evitar los estragos del sol en su piel blanca como la nieve.
Me sorprendió un poco ver cómo el implacable tiempo hace su aparición y me tocó ver sus blancos cabellos recogidos en trenzas, su mirada dulce llena de alegría por la visita inesperada, sentada y en el estar de su enorme casa rodeada de árboles y sonidos de la naturaleza, podía caminar con ayuda de un bastón, contándome sus memorias que se nublaban de a ratos para luego continuar.
Yo, absorta y admirada por su fuerza y coraje al hablar de una manera tan asombrosamente espontánea de cualquier tema, sin ningún pudor o remordimiento.
Fue una enorme dicha visitarla, aunque no me dejara tomarle fotos.
Lo cierto fue que con esa agradable tertulia, me pidió que le cantara y en medio de esos temas salió "Historia de un amor", una canción que al parecer nos tocó a las dos, de alguna u otra manera y nos hizo hablar sobre aquellos amores imposibles y eternos que alguna vez tuvimos la dicha de experimentar.
Es por eso queridos Hivers que dejándome llevar por la Musa, decidí compartir hoy con ustedes este maravilloso tema que tanto amo "Historia de un amor" un bolero maravilloso escrito en 1955 por el autor panameño Carlos Eleta Almarán.
Este bolero se hizo famoso e icónico a través del tiempo y ha sido interpretado por grandes estrellas de la música.
Yesterday was a day full of surprises and routes that took me back to memories of my youth. I had to go visit a great friend and poet from my city who is about 82 years old, one of those women ahead of her time, divorced at the age of 40, retired teacher and very well known at a cultural level.
A children's writer and poet, she found her better half a few years ago.
I remembered her always walking and waving, telling everyone about God and his miracles, with a big umbrella to avoid the ravages of the sun on her snow-white skin.
I was a little surprised to see how the relentless weather makes its appearance and it was my turn to see her white hair gathered in braids, her sweet look full of joy for the unexpected visit, seated and in the living room of her huge house surrounded by trees and sounds of nature, she could walk with the help of a cane, telling me her memories that clouded from time to time to then continue.
I, absorbed and admired by her strength and courage to talk in such an amazingly spontaneous way about any subject, without any modesty or remorse.
It was a great joy to visit her, even if she wouldn't let me take pictures of her.
The truth was that with that pleasant get-together, she asked me to sing for her and in the middle of those songs came out "Historia de un amor", a song that apparently touched both of us, in some way or another, and made us talk about those impossible and eternal loves that we once had the joy of experiencing.
That is why, dear Hivers, letting myself be carried away by the Muse, I decided to share with you today this wonderful song that I love so much, "Historia de un amor", a wonderful bolero written in 1955 by the Panamanian author Carlos Eleta Almarán.
This bolero became famous and iconic through time and has been interpreted by great stars of music.
