Hello, hello dear internet friends! I hope you are well, I am very happy because my favorite singer Taylor Swift released her tenth album on October 21, 2022, which is really incredible, so I would like to share with you my opinion. Without further ado, let's get started!
¡Hola, hola queridos amigos de internet! Espero estén bien, estoy muy contenta porque mi cantante favorita Taylor Swift lanzó el pasado 21 de Octubre del 2022 su décimo álbum el cual es realmente increible, por lo que me gustaría compartir con ustedes mi opinión. Sin más dilación, ¡empecemos!
This album was highly anticipated by me since its announcement, not only because it is a completely unreleased album since his album evermore, since 2 re-recordings of his previous albums followed, but also because the cover designs and others caught my attention so much. that I took advantage of the presale to buy 5 CD editions, also vinyls and an autographed CD which are on their way and I anxiously await their arrival. I also consider it the most personal album since its lyrics are inspired by self-love, wondering "what would it have been if...", love and lack of love and also desire for revenge. The album is made up of 13 songs in its standard versions, there is also a deluxe version made up of 16 songs, and as if that were not enough, on the morning of its release, it surprised us with a digital version which contains 20 songs.
Este álbum fué muy esperado por mí desde su anuncio, no solamente porque es un álbum totalmente inédito desde su álbum evermore, ya que luego siguieron 2 regrabaciones de sus álbumes anteriores sino también porque me llamó mucho la atención los diseños de portadas y demás por lo que aproveché la preventa para comprar 5 ediciones en CD, también vinilos y un CD autografíado los cuales vienen en camino y espero ansiosa su llegada. También lo considero el álbum mas personal ya que sus letras se inspiran en el amor propio, en preguntarse "que hubiese sido sí..", amor y desamor y también deseos de venganza. El disco está compuesto por 13 canciones en sus versiones estándar, también hay una versión deluxe compuesta por 16 canciones, y por si fuese poco en la madrugada de su lanzamiento nos sorprendió con una versión digital el cual contiene 20 canciones.
I'll start talking about "Lavender Haze" which is the first track on the album and one of my favorites, I really like that the first line is "Meet me at midnight" and it has a pretty catchy rhythm, it talks about her relationship with her boyfriend Joe Alwyn and everything they had to go through early on, dealing with rumors and whatnot. He also tells us about the beginning of their relationship, about wanting to be in a bubble so that no one can break that beautiful thing they have together. Let's say this song is personal to me as it reminds me of a past relationship that a lot of people wanted to meddle in with bad intentions, but despite that we managed to continue no matter what they say. Not only does it have catchy rhythms, but Taylor's voice is also very fresh and calm. I really love it.
Empezaré hablando de "Lavender Haze" la cual es la primera pista del álbum y una de mis preferidas, me gusta mucho que la primera línea es "Meet me at midnight" y tiene un ritmo bastante pegadizo, habla de su relación con su novio Joe Alwyn y todo por lo que tuvieron que pasar desde un principio, enfrentar rumores y demás. También nos habla del inicio de su relación, del querer estar en una burbuja para que nadie pueda romper eso tan hermoso que tienen juntos. Digamos que esta canción es personal para mí ya que me recuerda una relación pasada en la cual mucha gente quería entrometerse cin malas intenciones, pero a pesar de eso logramos continuar sin importar el que dirán. No solamente tiene ritmos pegadizos, también la voz de Taylor se escucha muy fresca y tranquila. Realmente me encanta.
Other of my favorite songs are "Anti-Hero" which is another of the most personal for me, in it Taylor talks to us about how we ourselves can be our worst enemy and that we must learn to deal with it, talks about underestimating ourselves ourselves, sometimes we feel anxiety and we take to heart what they will say and destructive criticism. I personally felt quite identified and I really like that Taylor has been able to express everything in this song with a very lively and catchy melody which in a certain way seemed comfortable to me. I'm really thankful to Taylor for this song. Others that I really like are Bejeweled whose video reminded me a bit of Love Story and the lyrics talk about turning the page and giving time to heal wounds. There are also rhythms that remind me of the song ME! from the Lover album and it's a really fun song. Although many did not like it, I loved it. Also Labyrinth which is another of the most personal for me, since I am inevitably afraid of falling in love and suffering again, and that is basically what the song is about, however it also tells us about the positive side and the importance of giving oneself a chance at love
Otras de mis canciones favoritas son "Anti-Hero" la cual es otra de las más personales para mí, en ella Taylor nos habla en como nosotros mismos podemos ser nuestro peor enemigo y que debemos aprender a lidiar con eso, habla acerca de menospreciarnos a nosotros mismos, a veces sentimos ansiedad y nos tomamos muy a pecho el que dirán y las críticas destructivas. Yo en lo personal me sentí bastante identificada y me gusta mucho que Taylor haya podido expresar todo en esta canción con una melodía muy movida y pegadiza lo cual en cierta manera me pareció comfortable. De verdad que estoy muy agradecida con Taylor por esta canción. Otras que me gustan mucho son Bejeweled cuyo video me recordó un poco a Love Story y la letra nos habla sobre pasar página y darle tiempo al tiempo para curar las heridas. También hay ritmos que me recuerdan a la canción ME! del álbum Lover y es una canción realmente divertida. Aunque a muchos no les gustó, a mi me encantó. También Labyrinth la cual es otra de las más personales para mí, ya que yo inevitablemente tengo miedo a enamorarme y volver a sufrir, y es básicamente de lo que trata la canción sin embargo también nos habla del lado positivo y la importancia que tiene el darse una oportunidad en el amor.
Personally, other songs that identify me are Karma and Vigilante Shit. Vigilante Shit talks a lot about revenge, in my opinion it is the darkest on the album but the rhythm of swirling synths makes the song fun and personally, it reminds me a lot of situations where I ended up taking revenge. I liked it very much and I consider this song as a declaration of revenge to her enemies, instead "Karma" talks about it, since what you harvest you get and sooner or later everything comes back, and although she talks about karma with a lot of humor and with a melodious voice, we must bear in mind that karma is certain. In general, the whole album is very good (including all the binus tracks of all the editions) and it is the first Taylor album that I really like completely, but all these that I named are my favorites, the most personal and the ones that I have the most glued.
En lo personal, otras canciones que me identifican son Karma y Vigilante Shit. Vigilante Shit habla mucho de venganza, en mi opinión es la más oscura del álbum pero el ritmo de sintetizadores arremolinados hace que la canción sea divertida y en lo personal, me recuerda mucho situaciones en las que terminé tomando venganza. Me gustó muchísimo y considero esta canción como una declaración de venganza a sus enemigos, en cambio "Karma" habla de eso, ya que lo que cosechas obtienes y todo tarde o temprano regresa, y aunque ella habla del karma con mucho humor y con una melodiosa voz, hay que tener presente que el karma es seguro. En general todo el álbum es muy bueno (inclusive todos los binus tracks de todas las ediciones) y es el primer álbum de Taylor que me gusta realmente por completo pero, todas estas que nombré son mis favoritas, las más personales y las que más tengo pegadas.
Something that I loved about this album is the theme that it has in general, and that literally with the 4 versions of the album you can put together a clock, in fact they sell the mechanism separately so you can put it on your wall and it is really very nice. Since I bought the 4 CDs I hope to be able to buy the clock mechanism soon to hang it in my room. It should also be noted that this album broke a large number of world records since it was not only the album with the most reproductions on spotify which collapsed on opening night, it also occupied the #1 position in many countries in America and Europe and the first 10 positions on the Billboard chart. As if that were not enough, it has also already received gold certification in countries such as Australia and New Zealand. In summary, it is a quite commercial and successful album.
Algo que me encantó de este álbum es la temática que tiene en general, y que literalmente con las 4 versiones del disco puedes armar un reloj, de hecho venden el mecanismo por separado para que lo puedas armar en tu pared y es realmente muy bonito. Como yo compré los 4 CDs espero poder comprar pronto el mecanismo del reloj para colgarlo en mi cuarto. También cabe resaltar que este álbum rompió una gran cantidad de récords mundiales ya que no solamente fué el álbum con más reproducciones en spotify el cual colapsó la noche del estreno, también ocupó la pocisión #1 en muchos países de América y Europa y las 10 primeras posiciones en la lista Billboard. Por si fuera poco, también ya ha recibido certificación de oro en países como Australia y Nueva Zelanda. En resumen, es un álbum bastante comercial y exitoso.
Finally what we were all waiting for happened today as Taylor announced a world tour in support of this album and the previous 3 called "The Eras Tour" in which he will also tour his songs from throughout his career and I'm really very excited and planning how to be able to attend one of the dates in the USA (although I keep hoping that it will announce dates in Latin America and come to a closer country) but I am not going to miss it since it will really be epic, I have had the opportunity to look at tours like 1989 and the Reputation Stadium Tour and I really know what to expect from this tour starting next year.
Finalmente lo que todos estábamos esperando sucedió hoy, ya que Taylor anunció un tour mundial en apoyo de este álbum y de los 3 anteriores llamado "The Eras Tour" en el que también hará un recorrido por sus canciones de toda su carrera y yo estoy realmente muy emocionada y planeando como poder asistir en alguna de las fechas en USA (aunque mantengo la esperanza de que anuncie fechas en latinoamérica y venga a un país más cercano) pero no me lo pienso perder ya que realmente será épico, he tenido la oportunidad de ver tours como 1989 y Reputation Stadium Tour y realmente se que esperar de este tour que empezará el próximo año.
To conclude, I would very much like to recommend this album to all of you, it is totally different from what he has been doing up to now and once again he showed that it is always good to improve yourself and try new musical styles and rhythms, since the result was truly exceptional.
Para finalizar, me gustaría mucho recomendarle este álbum a todos ustedes, es totalmente distinto a lo que ha venido haciendo hasta ahora y una vez más demostró que siempre es bueno superarse y probar nuevos estilos musicales y ritmos, ya que el resultado fué realmente excepcional.
