You will also notice in the video that my main demonstration song uses TWO capos. The one that is higher up covers 5 strings while the one that is lower down covers all 6 strings. When they are four frets apart like in the video, this gives my C-major a lower root note (almost like "Drop-C"). I also do this a lot with the capos 2 frets apart to get a deeper root note on D-major or D-minor (similar to "Drop-D" except you don't have to change most other chord shapes at all!).
