Goodbye to the time and place I lived, piano improvisation #009
I spent a lot of time thinking as the end of my lease approached. Should I move somewhere else, or continue living here? I wanted a new beginning, so I decided to move. I started going around to look at places and that whole time I felt completely out of it. With the contract finalized, moving day finally came, and the neighborhood I used to see all the time looked new.
I looked back on the past two years I lived here. And I looked back on the times I sat curled up in my dark room. There were more difficult and sad times than happy times, but even the former felt like fond memories. I hope that I won’t hurt or face difficulty in this new place, but I’m sure hard times will come find me. Nevertheless, I resolved to be more resilient. Goodbye, to those ever so difficult times and hello, to the new days to come.
I got to play at the place in this neighborhood that I loved the most during these past two years. I want to express my deep gratitude to the owner of Coffee Society, for the delicious coffee that made me happy every day.
I seek to soothe through piano my emotions that can't be expressed with words. In those times I am free. This channel started as a "diary written through music". Thank you for listening.
