When a loop of thoughts continues endlessly, it feels like I’m being held in grasp of a monster called Thought. I feel an emotion of continuously going down. After focusing on thoughts for a long time I get dizzy. I get hungry and feel lethargic. It doesn’t really get better even if I eat something.
When I feel this familiar headache coming on, I force myself to take a nap. If only for just a few minutes. I think taking a nap allows me to briefly cut the fuse of my thoughts. On this day, I was tied up in many complicated thoughts before playing, but the more I played, the more my mental burden lightened. Sometimes emptying your head is good, too. It was an enjoyable experience.
