Una buena amiga aquí en Hive me preguntó si había tomado muchas fotografías y videos de este evento, pero la verdad es que el mejor momento para pasear por el estadio y moverme de mi lugar en el coro fue el día del concierto general. El día del concierto generalmente me tengo que olvidar del celular, excepto en aquel concierto con Oscar D' León, donde el mismo artista nos pedía alboroto 😅 Con el Maestro Bocelli fue otra cosa, otra cosa maravillosa. La alegría de hacer música académica, pero en un estadio deportivo frente a miles de personas.
A good friend here at Hive asked me if I had taken many pictures and videos of this event, but the truth is that the best time to walk around the stadium and move from my place in the choir was the day of the general concert. The day of the concert I usually have to forget my cell phone, except in that concert with Oscar D' León, where the artist himself asked us to fuss 😅 With Maestro Bocelli it was another thing, another wonderful thing. The joy of making academic music, but in a sports stadium in front of thousands of people.
No pude tomarme una fotografía con él, es un artista que tiene una condición donde el cuidado y el respeto es mayor, sin embrago se quiso tomar una fotografía con el coro y la orquesta al final del concierto, aún no la tengo, pero significó mucho para todos nosotros, estábamos muy felices por el éxito del evento. Los días de concierto hay muchísimo movimiento detrás del escenario, pero al menos tengo esta fotografía junto a mi esposa y un par más que tomé en algún momento libre. Teníamos muchos invitados, además de que nuestros compañeros de la coral y la orquesta estaban en las gradas, ya que no todos entrábamos en el escenario.
I could not take a picture with him, he is an artist who has a condition where the care and respect is greater, however he wanted to take a picture with the choir and the orchestra at the end of the concert, I still do not have it, but it meant a lot to all of us, we were very happy for the success of the event. On concert days there is a lot of movement behind the stage, but at least I have this picture with my wife and a couple of others that I took at some free moment. We had a lot of guests, plus our colleagues from the choir and orchestra were in the stands, as not all of us entered the stage.
Cantar en un estadio tan grande asusta un poco, y es que el rebote del sonido del público regresa con mucha fuerza e intenta confundirnos, así que hay que tener la concentración en las manos del director al 100%. Siempre pensé que el concierto debió ser en otro lugar por el género musical, pero Bocelli no venía desde 2009 (creo), así que la asistencia del público sería masiva. El clima ayudó a que la noche fuera muy especial, creo que no cantábamos bajo el cielo abierto desde nuestra gira en España. La voz del solista fue de ensueño, y el sonido de la orquesta y la coral potente como siempre.
Singing in such a big stadium is a bit scary, and the bouncing sound from the audience comes back very strongly and tries to confuse us, so you have to have your concentration on the conductor's hands 100%. I always thought the concert should have been at another venue because of the musical genre, but Bocelli hadn't been here since 2009 (I think), so the audience attendance would be massive. The weather helped make the evening very special, I don't think we had sung under the open sky since our tour in Spain. The soloist's voice was dreamy, and the sound of the orchestra and choir powerful as always.
In the video I share above I leave you some of my impressions of entering the stadium, a little bit of the rehearsal and some fragments of the concert, videos that we compiled among all my colleagues who recorded our mothers and friends from the audience. The audience was very happy. I love that they applaud in the middle of the music when the artist does something really impressive, and in opera and choral symphonic music you should only applaud at the end, and that always drives me a little crazy hahaha.
En el video que les comparto arriba les dejó algunas de mis impresiones al entrar al estadio, un poco del ensayo y algunos fragmentos del concierto, videos que recopilamos entre todos mis compañeros que graban nuestras madres y amigos desde el público. Los asistentes estaban muy felices. Amo que aplaudan en medio de la música cuando el artista hace algo realmente impresionante, y es que en la ópera y la música sinfónico coral solo se debe aplaudir al final, y eso siempre me enloquece un poco jajaja.
Solo me queda seguir agradeciendo a Dios por estas hermosas oportunidades. Andrea Bocelli está celebrando 30 años de trayectoria, y precisamente comencé a oír su música en 1995, yo amaba oír Con Te Partiro en casa y escuchar a mi tía Tibisay cantar el dúo de Vivo Por Ella, incluso mejor que Martha Sánchez. Es un artista que siempre he seguido, pero que jamás pensé que vería en vivo; ahora esto de estar en un concierto junto a él, ya eso es algo más grande y una bendición del cielo para nosotros... Este evento fue parte de la semana aniversario de mi institución musical, y aunque hoy al fin he tenido un día de descanso, ya Mahler nos espera para interpretar su música este fin de semana 😵💫 Cansado? Sí... pero feliz 🙏

Andrea Bocelli is celebrating 30 years of career, and I just started listening to his music in 1995, I loved listening to Con Te Partiro at home and listening to my aunt Tibisay sing the duet of Vivo Por Ella, even better than Martha Sanchez. He is an artist that I have always followed, but never thought I would see live; now to be in a concert with him is something bigger and a blessing from heaven for us... This event was part of the anniversary week of my musical institution, and although today I finally had a day off, Mahler is already waiting for us to perform his music this weekend 😵💫 Tired? Yes... but happy 🙏

STOPSaludos amigo, que bonita y agradable experiencia que lograste vivir ese gran día, con una super estrella musical aquí en Venezuela, la cual era un concierto que estaba muy sonado por el regreso y se nota la calidad que tiene y como a esa edad sigue siendo muy bueno. Sin duda cada video será muy bien recordado y tú como musico una noche única, que no tiene precio. Me gusta la canción, vivo por ella.
