Welcome to Three Tune Tuesday. A nice space in the Music community that was born from the idea of brother @ablaze, where all participants recommend music to each other. This weekend we watched the Mtv Unplugged concert of the mexican band Maná, and it's because between the cleanings the dvd appeared, so for a moment we left the streaming and simply enjoyed good music. This is one of the Spanish bands that I usually listen to the most and it is very complicated to choose only three songs for my post, but there is always a person who does not know the music, so if you want to start listening to Maná or create a playlist with their best songs, these are the ones I recommend 😉
¡Bienvenidos a Three Tune Tuesday!. Un agradable espació en la comunidad Music que nació de la idea del hermano @ablaze, donde todos los participantes nos recomendamos música entre nosotros. Este fin de semana vimos el concierto Mtv Unplugged de la banda mexicana Maná, y es que entre las limpiezas apareció el dvd, así que por un momento dejamos el streaming y simplemente disfrutamos de buena música. Esta es una de las bandas en español que más suelo escuchar y es muy complicado elegir solo tres canciones para mi post, pero siempre hay una persona que no conoce la música, así que si deseas comenzar a oír a Maná o crear una playlist con sus mejores canciones, estas son las que yo te recomiendo 😉
1. El Muelle de San Blass (The San Blas Pier)
I have always considered this to be Maná's best song, and the story of la loca el muelle moves you from the first time you hear it. I was a kid when this song came out, and I still cried, because of its melancholic sound and the idea of waiting for love all your life, to the point of going crazy. It's a very cool pop sound that can't be missing in any Spanish playlist. I recorded this cover for the Hive Open Mic, and it's the only Maná tribute video I've done so far, I hope you like it.
Siempre he considerado que esta es la mejor canción de Maná, y es que la historia de la loca el muelle conmueve desde la primera vez que la oyes. Era niño cuando salió esta canción, y aún así lloré, por su sonido melancólica y la idea de esperar al amor toda tu vida, hasta el punto de enloquecer. Es un sonido pop muy fresco que no puede faltar en ninguna playlist en español. Grabé este cover para el Hive Open Mic, y es el único video en homenaje a Maná que he hecho hasta el momento, espero les guste.
2. El Reloj Cucú (The Cuckoo Clock)
The Cuckoo Clock is another song that hurts the soul, but it is a beauty in Maná's repertoire. I've never really figured out what it's specifically about, I think it's about a father who abandoned his wife and children, but I particularly identify with it since my dad died, and it conveys that feeling of sadness and abandonment that I felt, which made me relive and see this song from the 90's with a different perspective. Now there is a newer version with Mabel and an official video after so many years.
El Reloj Cucú es otra canción que duele en el alma, pero es una belleza en el repertorio de Maná. Nunca he averiguado bien de qué se trata específicamente, creo que es sobre un padre que abandonó a su esposa y sus hijos, pero particularmente me identifico con ella desde que mi papá murió, y es que transmite ese sentimiento de tristeza y abandono que sentí, el cual me hizo revivir y ver esta canción de los 90's con una perspectiva diferente. Ahora hay una versión más nueva con Mabel y un video oficial después de tantos años.
3. Mariposa Traicionera (Treacherous Butterfly)
A romantic sound but with a lot of Latin influence, especially bolero. The beauty of this music is a total contrast to the lyrics they sing, which speak of much betrayal and anger, the bitter taste of deceit. I have always found it to be one of their most interesting works and was very surprised when I heard this song. Maná is a Latin rock band, and although I like all their songs I obviously have a weakness for these quieter ones, and the lyrics catch the listener and are a delight for the soul.
Un sonido romántico pero con mucha influencia latina, especialmente del bolero. La belleza de esta música es un contraste total con la letra que cantan, la cual habla de mucha traición y rabia, el sabor amargo del engaño. Siempre me ha parecido una de sus obras más interesantes y me sorprendió mucho cuando oí esta canción. Maná es una banda de rock latino, y aunque me gustan todas sus canciones evidentemente tengo debilidad por estas que son más tranquilas, y es que las letras atrapan al oyente y son un deleite para el alma.
La Ñapa Shakirezca
Yes, I was able to sneak Shakira in this post 😅 and the song they have together is also one of my favorites and one of the most peaceful of their repertoire. A song that transmits tranquility and a lot of love. In the music video Shakira is pregnant with her second child, and I think that made the promotion of the song much more special ❤️
Sí, he podido colar a Shakira en este post 😅 y es que la canción que tienen juntos también es una de mis favoritas y de las más tranquilas de su repertorio. Una canción que transmite tranquilidad y mucho amor. En el video musical Shakira sale embarazada de su segundo hijo, y creo que eso hizo la promoción de la canción mucho más especial ❤️ No pueden dejar de oírla ✌️

Hay dos canciones aquí que me gustan mucho. Me refiero: El Muelle de San Blass y Mariposa Traicionera. Estas dos canciones son muy emocionales, pero su estructura y forma son diferente. La primera es un storytelling perfecto, doloroso y crudo. Te parte el alma y la segunda te destroza y hace ver todo de manera distinta. Me gusta la música de Maná, pero no su comportamiento y cosas que han manifestado.

Mira la verdad es que si es difícil escojer unas pocas entre los éxitos que han tenido, pero yo también escogería El reloj cucú, esa me parte el alma, una joya, vivir sin aire y rayando el sol, ahhh quiero poner todas ,🤣
