Todo un clásico de la historia, y es que la orquesta salsera mas conocida desde hace mucho nos regalo esta preciosa presentación titulada "Virgen" (2001) de su álbum "Ahora más que nunca "... Virgen es la primera canción que escuche de este excelente grupo musical, de hecho gracias a esta canción es que comencé a seguir escuchando a la orquesta, me encanta cada aspecto de la letra, y la composición es de otro nivel, los trombones en la misma tienen un sonido dulce y suave, pero igual destacan con su poder musical en cada solo! La verdad es que es un tema inolvidable! Todo un clásico, se los recomiendo al 1000% ♥

Estoy seguro que al igual que yo, muchas personas se disfrutan la introducción de esta canción, y es que los trombones vienen con esa armonía poderosa, al escucharla ya sabían de que venia el tema... La verdad me gustaría investigar mucho mas de esta canción, porque no logro identificar si el mismo habla de un posible aborto inducido, o algo parecido... Pero sin duda este es un tremendo clásico musical el cual podemos analizar, o bien disfrutar de la sonoridad del mismo...

Deje esta canción de ultima porque realmente luego de conocer la historia detrás de la letra nunca mas volví a escucharla igual... Resulta que Porfi Baloa tenia un amigo (musico) que lamentablemente se encontraba con su familia en el estado Vargas en el año 1999 cuando ocurrió aquella tragedia, y en medio del caos, los escombros y el terror, la guardia nacional, el cuerpo de bomberos y demás medios, se percataron que había una persona viva en el lugar, el mismo estaba enterrado hasta el cuello, esta persona era el amigo de Porfi... Y según relata el mismo Porfi, cuando los bomberos y policías comenzaron a desenterrarlo, este señor solo exclamaba "¡Mátenme, mátenme!", Los policías le decían "Como que mátenme, hermano agradece que estas vivo"... Pero este seguía exclamando "¡Que me maten!", y a medida que iban desenterrando al llegar a las manos quedaron helados con lo que vieron, una desgarradora escena y es que este señor tenia agarrado a sus 2 niños en las manos 💔... Tiempo después Porfi se consigue con este señor, y lo encuentra bastante desorientado, alterado, le enseñaba fotografías de sus hijos y le decía aquí están Porfi están vivos (Porfi Baloa desconocía lo sucedido) Y al preguntar que le sucedía a su amigo, Porfi se quedo triste con el alma echa pedazos, y se fue a su casa y compuso este tema musical...
I left this song last because really after knowing the story behind the lyrics I never heard it again.... It turns out that Porfi Baloa had a friend (musician) who unfortunately was with his family in the state of Vargas in 1999 when that tragedy occurred, and in the midst of chaos, debris and terror, the national guard, the fire department and other means, realized that there was a person alive in the place, he was buried up to his neck, this person was the friend of Porfi ... Si, creo que muchos de los que escuchamos a esta orquesta, jamás nos imaginamos que estas 3 canciones se relacionaban, es bueno conocer el significado.
I'm a music lover and love your choices especially the first one Adolescent's Orquesta - Virgen. The melody is so beautiful. It got me remembering my ballroom dancing days, which I really miss so much and wish my husband new how to salsa. That would be so beautiful.
Oh I feel I want to dance right now. Just by myself is ok. The rhythm is under my skin.
However, after reading your writing about the stories behind the melodies, the songs, I got confused of what I was feeling. Everything was so contradicting. I felt sad and searched on the lyrics of the songs and translated them in English. Oh they're beautiful songs.

Tremenda selección hermano, y te agradezco que la compartieras porque amo esta música y no tengo ni una playlist donde suenen, ya mismo me busco todo el repertorio de Adolescentes, gente que marcó una época importante en mi vida.
