My resolution this year was to make a folk album, it's been slow going but I decided it's finally time to get some of it recorded. After many bad takes where I literally botched the first chord finally had one I was decently happy with. Red light syndrome is real, oof 😂

It's definitely a process, I have so many little bits but putting them all together coherently is challenging. Did you get strings for your guitar yet?
It's always a process. I know what you mean about little bits (cries at the thought of all the ones scattered about here, lol). I did get strings, got them on, busted the brand new low E string when tuning (never did that before in my life), so that was interesting watching it curl, lol. I put another one on and it was fine. Maybe it had a defect, I'm not sure.
Long nails don't work so well with playing. I forgot, so had to stop and chop short four claws. 🤪
Sucks about the string, hope you upload some recordings sometime!
I had an extra string, so it was okay. I'll have to practice a heck of a lot more to do a recording, although I do have a cam now, so I better get the fingers going. 🤪

Pretty and good sound, I'm sure you will have all the songs of your album sooner than later, the song transmits sad feelings to me, is very powerful. I would have liked to know a little more about the history of the song, how was it born? :)
Writing lyrics has always been the most difficult part for me, I have a little notebook where I jot down phrases that come to mind and try to use that as inspiration when I am putting something together. I guess the feeling of this one is that maybe the bad things aren't so bad after all. The more I sing it I see alternate personal meanings but I would rather leave that open to interpretation :)

I wonder why you didn't upload your music video on 3Speak as to have at least tripled your rewards? ¿eh lady? Sheesh! I've certainly seen some people who upload crappy videos on 3Speak obtaining more than $50 with the tenth part of the amount of upvotes that you have obtained with this video.

Does your house have a great acoustic or is it the mic? Or perhaps both? Sounds great!
Ty, not sure about the acoustics in here, I recorded this on my phone in one go but added some processing to make it sound less "phone quality" . Little bit of reverb and messing around with the equalizer makes a big difference!
