Recently the artist Madonna has been in the news a lot with her 'new' appearance which is almost a form of body modification. More than any the audience has an opinion about it, but actually no one should really care right? But the whole thing what got Madonna famous in the first place in the 80s was her music, and maybe a bit in combination with her controversial act on stage (pointy boobs, burning crosses)

So lets focus a bit on the music where it all started with. See what tracks are the ones that stand out to me, and see if there are some piano versions that might be optional to learn some more piano with afterwards.
Vogue
Honestly in my head I was like the lead dancer to this song when I was a kid, and I think when I would up on a 90s party with some beers in my neck this still would be me taking the stage on this song (ssssh). Especially later in the video that is where the real moves start to come in. According to Wikipedia this song wasn't even meant to turn out as a single, but Im glad that it did
I found a piano tutorial that seems absolutely doable on my level, well at least the intro and the verses. The chorus seems like a bit of too much keys for me, but saving this on the blockchain to find back for myself later.
Frozen
I remember this was a bit hit in winter time and that I was listening this a lot when we were on route a snowy place in the mountains when I was a kid. The vibe over this song is kind of dark, and this was a bit of a crossover moment with styles from other countries which I could imagine that an audience more from the middle east would also appreciate this.
But this is an awesome song. For me the moment is in the last chorus when it is repeated is when the 'you hold the key' and the vocals are doubled. Such an intense part of the song
When looking at the piano version this difficulty is not in the amount of keys, but more in the timing is this. As I am not that fast in shifting hands to the right position this surely would be a bit too advanced for me, but still good to know how to play.
Rain
Why this song never turned out that big is a big mystery to me because this is a real banger to me. Okay it sounds really 80s/90s dated and that is because it is. Coming from the 'Erotica' album where it all started a bit to get weird is also around the same time the her kind of controversial book came out and it all felt more like shocking than like quality. Not on this song...This one rocks!
Who's that girl
How can you not get any good vibes from this song? I would super siked if this would be remixed to a more up to date sound so it doesn't sound so clunky anymore. But it aint about that, it is about trumpets in the background that bring the ultimate summer sound. Coming from the 'Whos that girl' movie which I saw a loooong time ago and surely was not worth watching again, the video refers a lot to the movies which does add something extra there actually.
And...I also like the short hair look a lot from back then!
With a not so recognisable intro in there, the versus and chorus are super fun actually to do. For me the melody 'right hand' would be more important, and the left one I would prefer to make a simpler one that would fit me better I guess. For later!
While scrolling through the discography of Madonna she really has done a lot especially in in the 80s and 90s which was really cool and I had almost haf forgotten about. But at the moment? Well...lets think about the music she made back then ;)
