RE: 1 + 1 = 2...but here's 3

in Music2 years ago

When I read the title of the post, I remembered a song of a very famous Italian-Venezuelan singer, his name is Franco de vita, he has a song called

Now there are three of us.

I will quote part of the lyrics.

What happened?
Why this situation?
Is there an intruder between the two of us?
Don't you believe in my love?
Wherever you go you know I'll go

And meanwhile she was still silent
Hiding from me who knows what
Until with slow words
She said: We are three

Only eight months will pass
And a Third between us there will be

While I was looking for the exact lyrics of the song I am quoting, I managed to listen to each of the recommendations, and even though as you know I am not an English speaker, I can say that with time I have managed to understand some pronunciations, and what I heard I liked a lot.

Love is very complex, because it can be understood in many ways, even though love is something basic, feeling good with that person and knowing that the other person is also comfortable with you, is something as basic as love itself, well, that can be a very simple explanation from my point of view, but everyone can give it the connotation with which they feel more comfortable when expressing what they feel for love.

It's really difficult to define or clarify what love is as there's so many versions of it and it's quite situation-specific. What one couple see as love another may see differently, then there's love of children, parents, friends and so on...all different to the other.

I'm glad you like the tracks although I understand that your comprehension of the words is probably lost on you as your English is not very good. You seemed to pick up on the mood of it though.

Have a good week.

Yes, each one understands love in his or her own way.

In our home, we understand it very well, in the midst of the imperfections of each one.

I managed to understand and enjoy the songs. I looked up the lyrics in Spanish to help me.

I hope you have a good week.

Oh yeah, love is certainly the ability to see and accept imperfections, in ourselves and others.
