Hoy, día internacional de la mujer, interpreto en su honor un cover de la canción "Como quien pierde una estrella ", de la autoría de Humberto Estrada y popularizada por el cantautor mexicano Alejandro Fernandez. Este autor se inspiró en amores de pareja, especialmente comparando a la mujer metafóricamente con una estrella, y al perderla lamenta y llora su pérdida, un amor tan profundo que no puede vivir sin ella y sufre y ruega a Dios fortaleza para soportar la pena que lleva por dentro y no lo deja vivir. De ahí el título de Como el que pierde una estrella.

Today, International Women's Day, I interpret in her honor a cover of the song "Como quien pierde una estrella", written by Humberto Estrada and popularized by Mexican singer-songwriter Alejandro Fernandez. This author was inspired by the love of a couple, especially comparing the woman metaphorically with a star, and when he loses her he laments and cries for her loss, a love so deep that he cannot live without her and suffers and prays to God for strength to bear the sorrow that he carries inside and does not let him live. Hence the title Como el que pierde una estrella (Like one who loses a star).
