Monday again! Weekends fly by, but have no fear, check out my music recommendations for the week, let the music rabbit hole take you and I promise it will make the week go by so much faster!
ONE- First up is Celeste, a woman with a voice so smooth and so sultry Im reminded of our dearly missed Amy Winehouse. Still, Celeste has a gorgeous voice, unique and all her own. Both Sides of the Moon in particular is (insert chef's kiss). It displays her vocal skills beautifully and makes you feel the soul in her voice. Never has a toxic relationship sounded so smooth.
TWO- On that smooth silky vibe, in comes my boy James Vickery with his song Until Morning. Can you imagine someone singing this to you? DONE DEAL. Right then and there.I digress lol If you miss the golden years of RnB, this song is for you.
THREE- I would describe this song as latin, experimental, electronic. Same words I'd use to describe myself coincidentally lol Helado Negro brings in a fresh, smooth, very chill vibe with a latin touch.
FOUR- As the #1 Daft Punk fan ever, its difficult to find a cover of any of their songs that I deem worthy. Daft Punk is GOAT. This beeeaaaautiful cover however pays wonderful tribute to what I consider Daft Punk's best and most heartfelt song, and my personal favorite. Hats off to Balance and the Traveling Sounds for this cover of Something About Us. I never get tired of it. Well rounded, filled with soul, keepin the Daft Punk essence intact. 10/10 Perfect!
FIVE- Im still a cute little raver at heart, so any chance I get to introduce anyone to my favorite genre, Psychedelic Trance, I take it. Lets start nice and easy with this track by Gataplex, it's very old school, but very much gold! If you've never listened to Psytrance, give it a try. It might be for you, or not. But thats what this is about, right? If you liked it, and are ready for me to throw you off the deep end into the reeeeal dirty and heavy Psytrance, let me know.
Hope you enjoy this week's recommendations! Let me know what you think!

For the cute little raver you are, you went a bit outside the ravers domain with some of your selections. Super! :) Celeste: Goosebumps! Wow, she can SING! And yea, reminds us of our dear Amy. The Daft Punk cover: I agree with you, this one is one that can and shall be mentioned and recognised. The Psy Trance: Way too commercial for me, but I understand why you have selected this. For all those not familiar with Psy Trance, this somewhat easy track maybe more likeable to the real deal.
Thank you! Yes, I like to listen to a little bit of everything. And yes, I picked a Psy track that would be easier to digest for someone who's never heard psytrance, to sort of ease them in. I'll suggest something a lil dirtier later on :p who are some of your favorite Psy acts?
Owww am so not knowledgeable on Psy Trance. Been to some of the parties back in the days (like back in the 90s). And when such stage is at a festival I visit, I spend some time with the music,. Am a true Techno guy (I mean the real underground techno, not all the 'commercial' stuff that is going around these days). Not so many artists do both, techno and psy, so even from that side I wouldn't know about Psy. But throw me something more 'dirtier', darker, like underground style set and I'll listen for sure :)
Stay tuned for next Monday then ;)
I'll catch that one. Just make sure you add music as a tag and I'm sure I won't miss it.
