There is a song originally by The Waterboys - a folk rock band formed in Edinburgh in 1983 by Scottish musician Mike Scott: “How Long Will I Love You”

I used to play this song a lot when I was in early 20’s, when everything about love was so sweet and perfect to me. When I was singing this song for my first love and dreaming about our future.
Years later I did not play it anymore as I got so much into other rock bands. Today, when it popped up in my mind again and, I really experienced a totally different feeling about it.
For me now, love is just there... and I can still feel my love for people who I’m not with anymore, love for ones I’m waiting to meet again... Love is just more calm, more gentle, but more solid...
