La constancia, perseverancia y amor por lo que hacemos va a definir nuestro éxito en lo que nosotros decidamos emprender, podemos tener todo lo que necesitamos a nuestro alcance, pero sin el amor y la disciplina es imposible lograr llegar a la meta.
La vida puede darnos un empujón y de esa manera abrimos los ojos y después de un tiempo logramos enderezar los pies y así no desviar nuestra mirada del objetivo, sé de historias de personas que no tenían algún instrumento cuando estaban aprendiendo y con mucha astucia de alguna manera lograron aprender hasta que compraron el suyo, también hay otros que las emoción los embarga, tienen todo lo necesario para comenzar y es muy poco lo que logran, así estuve yo por años.
Eso no quiere decir que después de tiempo puedas retomar, pero ahora con madurez y conciencia ir logrando lo que nos planteamos desde un principio.
Constancy, perseverance and love for what we do will define our success in whatever we decide to undertake, we can have everything we need within our reach, but without love and discipline it is impossible to reach the goal.
Life can give us a push and that way we open our eyes and after a while we manage to straighten our feet and thus not divert our gaze from the goal, I know stories of people who did not have an instrument when they were learning and with a lot of cunning somehow managed to learn until they bought theirs, there are also others that emotion overwhelms them, they have everything they need to start and very little they achieve, that's how I was for years.
This does not mean that after some time you can resume, but now with maturity and awareness to achieve what we set out from the beginning.
Cada vez que veía a mi esposo ejecutar esos solos e intros con esa dificultad, en mi mente decía "jamás podré hacerlo", de hecho ni lo intentaba y allí está el fracaso, en lo mente, ella puede ser tan poderosa que ni si quiera nos deja dar el paso, cuando Franklin me planteó la idea de tocar bachata me reí y pensé que necesitaría un año para eso, y luego añadió "y cantas mientras tocas la canción" fue aún más gracioso, sólo por seguirle la corriente dejé que me enseñara el tema, en ese momento fue burbujas de amor, en una semana ya había logrado sacarla, y en unos cuantos días ya la estaba cantando, luego vino el proceso de pulirla hasta lograr un buen resultado.
Desde ahí mi perspectiva con respecto a la guitarra y lo que puedo lograr ha cambiado, ahora voy atreviendome un poco más, en mis videos pasados he empleado algunas cosas nuevas, como por ejemplo hacer la intro y añadirle algún ritmo que no sabía.
Hoy decidí hacer varias cositas, por ejemplo la intro que hacemos en la guitarra son las voces de bachata rosa que escuchan al comienzo del tema, luego de eso hago una pequeña parte del solo, no les digo que se me hizo súper fácil, pero he allí el centro de la reflexión de hoy, disciplina, constancia, amor son los ingredientes para avanzar en el camino que nos hemos trazado en esta vida.
Every time I saw my husband play those solos and intros with that difficulty, in my mind I said "I will never be able to do it", in fact I didn't even try and there is the failure, in my mind, she can be so powerful that she doesn't even let us take the step, when Franklin told me the idea of playing bachata I laughed and I thought I would need a year for that, and then she added "and you sing while you play the song" it was even funnier, just to play along I let her teach me the song, at that moment it was bubbles of love, in a week I had already managed to get it out, and in a few days I was singing it, then came the process of polishing it to a good result.
Since then my perspective regarding the guitar and what I can achieve has changed, now I'm daring a little more, in my past videos I have used some new things, such as making the intro and adding some rhythm that I didn't know.
Today I decided to do several little things, for example the intro that we do on the guitar are the voices of pink bachata that you hear at the beginning of the song, after that I do a small part of the solo, I do not tell you that it was super easy, but there is the center of today's reflection, discipline, constancy, love are the ingredients to advance on the path that we have set for ourselves in this life.
