Hello dear friends, as some of you may know I love music, I have always loved to sing, but sometimes it's not enough to just love something to get it right. You need knowledge and that's what I lack. I have heard of people who say that they learn to do things just by watching videos, I think that in my case it is not possible for me, I have seen many videos, to improve the voice, sing high notes, music from scratch and the truth is that I feel that having someone to listen to you and see your mistakes and educate your ear would be the best thing.
Although I don't consider myself an old lady, I do feel too old to learn music right now, but we can never stop trying. I have never had the opportunity to learn, but since I don't want the same thing to happen to my son, I have been looking for music lessons for him.
In my local cultural center I found out that they give courses for children, vocalization and cuatro. I spoke for my son to enroll him and they accepted him even though he is only 3 years old. Although I was very embarrassed I asked if they could teach me because I have always wanted to learn and I have not been able to. The answer was a resounding yes, the words of admiration for taking that initiative made my heart happy.
The desire that my heart has always had is going to be fulfilled, I am going to learn vocalization, besides another instrument that I will learn to know. What a thrill to feel that it is not too late to learn what you are passionate about.
I haven't seen the first class yet, we just did some exercises with the voice with our classmates and then they taught me some notes with the cuatro, but the truth is that I was very excited when the teacher told me that I have a good voice.
For now, I am the oldest vocal student in the class and my son is the youngest. The most fun is that we can learn together. We should never let complexes or criticism stop us from trying.
I still don't know if I will learn, if I will be able to make my hand touch those delicate strings and create a beautiful melody with both my voice and my hands, but I will do my best to achieve it, the love I feel for music will make me succeed.
Sometimes we limit ourselves but to fulfill our dreams we must fight even with our own mind telling us that we are not going to achieve it. We must believe more in ourselves. I will try to give the best example to my favorite classmate, that he sees that his mother did not give up and in the end I will be able to say that I made it.

Hola queridos amigos, como quizá algunos sepan yo amo la música, siempre me ha gustado cantar, pero a veces no basta con solo amar algo para que salga bien. Necesitas conocimiento y ese me falta a mí. He escuchado de personas que dicen que aprenden a hacer cosas solo viendo videos, creo que en mi caso no me es posible he visto muchos videos, de mejorar la voz, cantar agudos, música desde cero y la verdad siento que tener a alguien que te escuche y vea tus errores y te eduque el oído seria lo mejor.
Aunque no me considero una anciana, si me siento mayor para aprender música ahorita, pero nunca podemos dejar de intentarlo. Nunca había tenido la oportunidad de aprender, pero como no quiero que a mi hijo le ocurra lo mismo he estado buscando clases de música para él.
En la casa de la cultura de mi localidad me enteré que dan cursos a niños, de vocalización y de cuatro. Hablé por mi hijo para inscribirlo y lo aceptaron a pesar de solo tener 3 años. Aunque tenía mucha vergüenza pregunté si me podían enseñar a mí porque siempre he querido aprender y no he podido. La respuesta fué un rotundo sí, las palabras de admiración por tomar esa iniciativa me alegraron el corazón.
El deseo que siempre a tenido mi corazón se va a cumplir, voy a aprender vocalización, además otro instrumento que aprenderé a conocer. Que emoción sentir que no es demasiado tarde para aprender lo que te apasiona.
Todavía no he visto la primera clase, solo hicimos unos ejercicios con la voz junto a nuestros compañeros y luego me enseñaron algunas notas con el cuatro, pero la verdad la emoción fué grande cuando el profesor me dijo que si tengo buena voz.
Por ahora, yo soy la estudiante de vocalización con más edad de la clase y mi hijo el de menor edad. Lo más divertido es que podemos aprender juntos. Nunca debemos permitir que los complejos o las críticas nos hagan dejar de intentarlo.
Aun no se si voy a aprender, si lograré que mi mano pueda tocar esas delicadas cuerdas y crear una hermosa melodía tanto con mi voz como con mis manos, pero voy a hacer mi mayor esfuerzo para lograrlo, el amor que siento por la música va a hacer que lo logre.
A veces nosotros mismos nos limitamos pero para cumplir los sueños se debe luchar así sea con nuestra propia mente diciéndonos que no lo vamos a lograr. Debemos creer más en nosotros. Trataré de darle el mejor ejemplo a mi compañero de clase favorito, que él vea que su mamá no se rindió y al final podré decir que lo logré.
