RE: Abdullah Ibrahim, South African Jazz Giant

in Music2 years ago

I listened to the embedded links you attached in your work and i can say he was a great musician and perhaps had the journey of music being a smooths sail for him he may have been even greater because come to think of it, he was kept from attending University due to his race? And it wasn't even an impediment to him, he kept pushing.

The works in the Msuduza is quite soothing to listen to and is a tune that would automatically take you on the route of African and ancestral heritage, i love music, even more, classical and instrumentals doing great pieces and you gave that to me this evening, i am glad i came here and thanks so much for the education once again. It was an absolute pleasure.

Thank you for visiting @nattybongo. I was a pleasure to read about and write about this remarkable man. He is living history. Some lives are extraordinary because of the circumstances in which they exist. Some are extraordinary because of their actions. Abdullah Ibrahim is extraordinary on both counts.

It does feel very organic, real. I also found that piece soothing, also.

Hope you have had a wonderful Sunday.

Thank you and I do wish you a blissful week too
