Well, I couldn't have a fully non-dnb weekend here but I still wanted to share a chilled out dnb track I made which is ironic, given both the name and artwork for today's share!
Many moons ago, when I first joined the dnb production world (early 2010s), there was an artist I met through a label I released some music on and his name is BLINDSTATE.
He seemed to specialise in minimal dnb sounds and up popped this apocalyptic track he made called "End of the World".
I can't remember how the events unfolded to get the remix going but I remember doing a chilled out version to start with all those years ago.
It wasn't until a year ago that I wanted to make a Drum & Bass version of this, inspired by one of my favourite dnb tunes by another artist called Hosta called When You Were Mine.
So, in the end, we got two remixes for the price of 1 original, all of which are free download on my Soundcloud page - you can click the down arrow in the player below if you have an account!
With the amount of tunes I've got mastered, I need to start putting all of these tunes in one place, just need to get going with that as soon as I can!

No Claim Challenge...
I am not sure about this challenge that I just invented as I was writing this post but I sometimes forget to claim post rewards and last time I did was about a week ago.
In the UK, each claim is a taxable event, with the new tax year starting in a couple of days, I may just hold off until then to claim but will see how much it racks up over the course of a month. Could be quite interesting but I may just cave in and be like, I can't be arsed to wait for that haha.
Do you forget to claim post rewards or do you just instantly claim when you log in? :D
Nice brother 🙌🏽 Still waiting for the vinyl releases 👌🏽
Thanks man! Oooo, that's a good shout, thanks for reminding me, I'm not sure where I can get the vinyls made, I've still got about 100 CDs that I need to burn and dish out to people at venues and random places lol.
I'm ready when they are. Keep it coming
I looked at Qrator website and the lowest number of vinyls they do in a package is 100 vinyls for £1,360... 😬 I don't think I've even got 100 fans hahaha
Ouch, that's steep. I'll just have to stick to Spotify. Keep it up mate, sure you've got more than a 100 👌🏽
Bless you mate, thanks for the support! I wonder how much a vinyl press is for a home set-up, then I could make them to order but think it's quite a toxic process!
🙏🏽. Think that would be an expensive venture. But you never know could be the start of your own label 🤔
Hello man, I love your consistency in production of quality mixes. You are a master of your own art. Kudos friend
Thanks a lot man, appreciate the comment and really pleased you like the mixes. I still think there's a lot to improve, I'd have to take a few production lessons if I wanted to go the next level but I'm happy where I am with it all for now :)
It is good man
Keep up the good work
