Yeah it never ceases to amaze that my two most played tracks (because they got featured on Spotify editorials) are two of my oldest releases - granted, they got re-distributed in 2018 but they were originally a few years before that. To be honest, it's a reminder to us about where we've come from and the moods earlier songs bring, perhaps not relevant to the artist now because we've most likely listened to them to death but for brand new listeners, that's exactly what they are... brand new!
I'm thinking of doing a #tbt blog each Thursday from July to literally throwback to earlier releases as new followers may not have heard them before - this blog may well have just inspired that little idea 💡
Some tips for formatting your WordPress blogs so that they are as attractive on Hive:
Center align your images on WordPress editor, they will be centered here along with the captions.
Use the "embed" link from Spotify desktop app in a new "html" block on WordPress as it will also embed the player on Hive so people can play back seamlessly whilst continuing reading.
Cool - happy to be a little inspiration 😀
And - as ever, my Hive mentor - thanks for the tips... 😉
You're welcome for the tips! Little by little is the best way to learn about the vast expanse of Hive but I found that using it like a Facebook Page by posting and commenting to begin with and then just build up the knowledge from there. It's when you master formatting and put sub headings in, makes it look real nice. You already have good writing skills so great foundation to build on.
