I know his upcoming mandatory military service has been weighing heavy on your mind (with good reason) and the situation you describe would be optimal. Color vision deficiency (CVD aka color blindness) is another condition that disqualifies military special duty occupation in the United States. Not sure if that's the case in Korea.
