Greetings Hive Family, 😄

I complete 1 month on HIVE today, it's been such a great learning experience on the platform, meeting and engaging with new people from all over the world and witnessing such talented people on all the communities. Really hoping to build on this first month and also contributing positively to the platform.

Thought I'd share a guitar cover of the song 'Losing My Religion' by American Alternative Rock band - R.E.M. This song won two awards at the 1992 Grammy Awards, it was for Best Short Form Music Video and Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal.

I was able to pull out only the vocals from the original song and make a guitar only rendition along with it. I used the android app - 'Moises' for the vocal extraction from the song.
It started off as an experiment and it eventually developed into a softer version of the song.
It was good fun and I may experiment with this more in the future.

Here's the original if you havent heard it yet!

Song Lyrics

Oh life, is bigger
It's bigger than you
And you are not me
The lengths that I will go to
The distance in your eyes
Oh no I've said too much
I set it up
That's me in the corner
That's me in the spot-light
Losing my religion
Trying to keep up with you
And I don't know if I can do it
Oh no I've said too much
I haven't said enough
I thought that I heard you laughing
I thought that I heard you sing
I think I thought I saw you try
Every whisper, of every waking hour
I'm choosing my confessions
Trying to keep an eye on you
Like a hurt, lost and blinded fool, fool
Oh no I've said too much
I set it up
Consider this
Consider this, the hint of the century
Consider this the slip
That brought me to my knees, failed
What if all these fantasies come
Flailing around
Now I've said too…

Let me know what you think of my guitar cover of the song! 😄
