Studio Diary

in Music2 years ago

Hi folks hope you're well.

So today I wanted to share a bit of my sound design and track production workflow with you.

For those of you unfamiliar with me and my work, i'm a bit of a sound nut, always trying new things and seeing how far out I can push the sonic boat.

This video is part 16 of a studio diary series. Here i'm using one simple note sequence to build and audition sounds. For me this is the most fun part because I always discover something new.

This is part of the very early stages of me crafting a song and rarely sounds anything close to the finished product, so it's very raw and unrefined with very little mixing involved.

If you care to see more of this sort of thing, all parts are available on my Youtube channel, alongside some of my released work. If sounds are your bag then I recommend a little exploration, there's plenty on offer.

Hey man, this is great! As a person who know nothing about sound design, your creation process is very interesting to me if I want to learn some day. Good job!

Many thanks mate, I do find sound design to be a very fulfilling activity, one i'd highly recommend to others, it's really not as hard as one may think, yet has insane depths that I love uncovering :)
